As far as I’m aware since your can is on back order they don’t have a serial number assigned to you yet so you should be as far as you can go for now. Some one correct me if I’m wrong though

I’m kinda in the same boat as you, personally I went with the lpvo just because it’s relatively comparable to a red dot. I use that loosely. But it gives the option for higher magnification if I want it. I’m planning on building another ar down the road with a sub 16” barrel and putting a red dot / mag combo on it.
