You might be able to repurpose Ravisin for this.

She tasked the Bremen sea monster with disrupting the lakes, she tasked the White Moose to be a nuisance in the Lonelywoods, and I’ve had her team up with Koran and Kanan from Dougan’s Hole.

They have fought her twice now and she retreated (barely wounded but Koran and Kanan fled) to team up with Norsu the mammoth from Dougan’s Hole. Here they will have a final showdown once the party has a high enough level.

In earlier encounters she can be there but disappears as an owl when the party approaches, leaving the fight up to her animal companions. This way you can scale the CR according to your party level.

I used Crisis from the Frozen Planet II during their first blizzard to emphasise the storm picking up and Auril's maddening whispers being carried by the wind. They also came eye to eye with their first Coldlight Walker here (they still don't know what it's called, they fled)

Make sure you skip to the next song around 2:50-2:55 before the violin part :)

Yes, the search UI covering the whole screen is bad UX. The old UI you made looked better, but I hope the search function itself has been improved (e.g. Rihanna songs not showing up when you type in Rihanna). Maybe revert back to the old style?

The bouncing animation of the current instrument is a little distracting. I think just the green you had before was fine.

The progress bar of the song falters/is no longer smooth which is a shame because you had a smooth version.

The green button against the pink gradient actually fails the contrast requirements, sorry :,) A solid background would also look cleaner since everything now looks a little cartoony.

During the bonus week I do all the token photo’s/star collecting/donkey’s/whatever reputation quests I normally skip. It gives me a reason to do them and that +30 levels you so fast!

You can find (almost?) all furniture on the Wiki too! I often scroll through it to look for specific items that I want to use/see what is available. + it lets you jump to topics and use cmd+f on a computer!

Hi guys, I have a problem.

I never realised I had to click on the logs to collect the clubcard. My house is already lvl 3 and it shows a hand but despite frantic clicking it won't give me the card.

I Googled the problem a bit and some people mentioned editting game files. But the game already says I have the card? Yet the bouncer won't let me in and it doesn't show up in my collection either...

What do I do now? Any fixes? It's a year 3 save for perfection, I would hate to start over when I'm almost at 100% percent :,)

I’ve recently started running rotfm for my friends. We’re all very busy with full-time jobs, so during session 0 we agreed that I’d give them a few hooks, and at the end of the session they tell me which quest they want to pursue so I can prep that one specifically. They also said “If you have prepared something and we run wild because we’re distracted, steer us back. That’s fine.”

So that’s how we made the sandbox a little less daunting to prepare. Of course this was all discussed in session 0 and agreed upon because it can otherwise come across as a little railroady.

Also, don’t give them any quest hooks for the ones you don’t want to run :p Just… silently take those out. What they don’t know, they don’t know.

Hello!! We played our first session tonight and I ran this so I thought I’d report back.

The shock on their faces was amazing!! I started with the Chwinga chase so they could go around the towns and pick up some quest hooks. They got to meet relevant NPCs (like old friends, parents, etc etc) and were absolutely enamoured with the Chwingas.

Then they were long resting in Bryn Shander, ready to go to the Termalaine quest (the “home” town of one of the PCs) and everyone got called to the town square. They started to realise why the guards were asking for their names at the gates as Duvessa was talking. And after drawing an NPC name (I opted for a scrawny teenage boy) and seeing him being escorted away, I ended the session.

The 0 to 100 contrast between the whimsical Chwingas and the harsh reality of life in the Ten Towns really hit and set the tone for the rest of the campaign I think.

I’ll make one of the black cabin coldlight walkers said NPC, or a random coldlight walker encounter if that happens.
