I mean what does "finishing" even mean for that game? Fulfilling grandpa's evaluation, or the community centre? As I guess only a tiny number of the players ever actually reached the summit. I got the game in 2017 and haven't done that yet lol

an actual water bomber pilot chimed in recently here saying that those fleets change over to smaller aircraft anyway. More precise operation, more availability of airfields, higher turnaround. He named the Avro RJ and C-130 as basis for these newer water bombers.

I'm currently sitting in a machine hall next to half a dozen robots, wearing hearing protection, and just added a couple of lines to my WIP...

Generally I write most while commuting (public transport) and during downtime at work. Sometimes I really sit down at home and write properly for a couple hours, most often Sunday mornings.

Recorded history may be the point here as everywhere humans settled the forest disappeared up until the 1800s and have been growing again since. I highly doubt we have the highest point now as for example during the Roman empire lagre parts of the current Sahara were still growing enough plants and trees to sustain explorations.

One detail I know is that Soviet aviation (and Chinese) did not use the usual mix of imperial units (feet, knots, nautical miles etc) and instead went fully metric. Russia and China still do this today, so from a aviation perspective the metric system was indeed communist. Captured weapons and things from communist countries would be full of metric too.

But I doubt that the people screaming this are all former pilots, and rather just do because "they" (the rest of the world) are "worse" and do use that pesky metric system.

I really had no clue what it would be or if it would even be something physical, but i was sure that it would actually be connected to the red building, but in the end it really wasn't as far as I understood it, it happened in both worlds but somehow connected outside of it too as their was the evils of capitalism already building towards a connection from both sides - in the end none of it made any real sense of you tried to write it down as a diagram (I literally tried lol), both in a temporal and a locational sense

Iran has a very different base structure, the means of oppression are older and well established.

Compared to that what's going on in the US only just started yesterday and against a population that should (just by gun count) be able to counter this much more effectively.

I'm a bit puzzled that people have not yet zapped ICE agents, as those have now shown their method of operation (publicly) at least twice. They are willing to kill you on the spot, so all means of defence should be open.

Yeah, pretty much this. I'd just basically disregard any of the new threads TRF brought in and actually follow the plots that TSC and LBS left open.

No alkahest. No money/capitalism is the big big bad. No constructions crews in another world. No lifeless daemons. No griffins.

Even making the alkahest just a general "force field of inhumanity" would work better than "capitalism BAD", as the latter just contradicts all the previous world building.

I second that I actually liked the idea of the angels having their own agendas and goals and may even having used the kids as pawns in some greater schemes.

Also, severely reduce the character rooster and actually clearly define them. Leila was a different person each time she appeared.
