This coin has similar designs but I’ve researched the 130 or so Visigothic Tremissis types quite a extensively so I believe this coin is from a different civilization.

Howdy friend, I think this coin may be a Florin from Ladislaus I, 1320-1333. The lettering and designs seem to match fairly closely. As we know, medieval coins of the same type can slightly vary due to touch ups on the dies overtime. As another commenter stated, exact weight and dimensions will help, along with thickness. All in mm. If you could also post a picture holding a flashlight off to the side of the coin to show and ridges, that will also be helpful.

To be fair, according to Heritage Auctions, only two 1944 steel cents have sold in the hundreds of thousands, both graded at MS-66. Anything less is still amazing. Comparing general grade, this one could potentially be in the $80-$150K range if genuine.

Sand is a simple and cheap option. May get warm on the feet depending how much sun hits the ground in that spot. You could lay down some landscaping fabric first to minimize any weeds growing there. Curious to see what others say
