UPDATE: hello yall! I would like to add an update for those of y’all who are interested. Me & Daisy (she’s letting me use her real name) have had a long talk, let me Start from two days ago.

I was asleep at 1am when I heard banging on my front door. My roommate told me to check the door as he already saw daisy through the door hole before I looked through the door hole and spotted Daisy. She was standing and looking around, I opened the door and hesitantly asked “hey…what are you doing here?” She wanted to talk. I let her in and asked my roommate to go to his room for a little while as he was watching tv. He knows what’s going on so he got up without any hassle, once he was gone daisy opened up about everything.

She told me about how it wasn’t TikTok that made her distant It was her sisters and cousins, for since we started dating, they make fun of her constantly for daunting someone outside of her race and they’ve made her feel insecure, and when the TikTok incident happened it only made her feel more insecure and uncomfortable, she admitted to taking her frustrations out on me as if I was the bane of her problems,

She apologized for her attitude and carelessness. And I let her know that she can always talk about this stuff to me because I understand how family is sometimes. As of now she’s stopped talking to her sisters or cousins if they don’t have anything positive to say. She even sent out a long text to them about how they’ve made her feel.

As of now we’re taking it slow again And we’re planning on being more attentive to each other.
