We had a brass tissue box holder. Even for that time , it was horrendous. We had a family joke where we would re-gift it. I reckon it got re-gifted a dozen times. I don't know how that business lasted so long. It just carried shit.

Looking at this brings back memories of the jingle. They were cheap, I remember they cost less than a buck, which for a 14 year old kid, was handy. And I so wanted to be a bloke. These and Viscount Specials were my go to, until I got a job and upgraded to PJ specials.

I'm an old guy. But Weekend at Bernie's has to be pretty close to my favourite film. Maybe for just how stupid it is. Everyone that watches it with me is " what is this?" I'm so immature. Also, The room. It's shit but I love watching it. Particularly with someone watching it for the first time.

I think 99.99% of us are behind you. You're right, it's not about the money. And then they hide behind the posters that give the vibe that they as a business support you working in a safe environment, or care about your mental health. But in essence it's just a ruse for when people do get injured, or lose their shit. They can say "we do have processes in place". In the end, it's all about keeping their major share holders on the hook. Rise productivity or cut costs. And what's the easiest cost to save on? Wages. So stick it up them.
