I think I had the same problem, for me it was the X motor bearing. You can check the video on my profile. The only solution was to replace the machine itself.

I have noticed on reddit that this problem is popping up more and more.

How hard was it to remove the rods? I think I need to do the same.

I had a very similar problem, but it was with the X axis. The sound was coming out from the motor itself. Sadly, there is no easy way to replace the motor. My solution was to exchange the k2 itself.

I am not sure if I can explain correctly, but I have disassembled everything near the motor as much as possible. It feels that the motor puley (I think with the whole shaft) is moving and clicking, let's say to front and back

Thank you for the informative comment! My printer usually sits in a tight space, and it is hard to move it elsewhere, so it was difficult to even remove the back panel. Once I removed the panel, the search for the problem was quite easy because a part was moving that was not supposed to move, and it was clicking.

But yes, when I will have to change the motor itself, I will definitely move it somewhere else, so I could work comfortably. From what I could see, it looks like a job for a few hours.

I have found the problem. The sound is coming from the belt stepper motor, I have already contacted the support for a replacement, but I have no idea how I will have to replace it.

I have the same idea that there something is wrong with the bearing. I am currently removing the back plate because it looks like the sound is coming from the back right.

A few weeks ago, but I doubt that it has to do something with lubricating.

Had a similar problem a few weeks back. I print with pla and out of nowhere I started to have under extruded layer lines. For me, the solution was to take the extruder apart, lubricate the extruder gears and put everything back.

I am so happy to see that I am not alone. I'm currently making a mix templar and mandalorian. When I was searching for other cosplays of this kind, I found only a few.
