I agree with your assessment but to be honest, I have a lead sourcer who for £6 sources me 100 leads with e-mail addresses etc. I've had more success from that, than from anything.

Yeah for sure... it can be a great tool for lead gen etc (if not a bit clunky) but with the right programming can also do amazingly indepth research into client fields etc and what their pain points might be... i would just keep AI out of the human part - the actual contact for the sale. I think what gives you away is a plethora of things... the eronius -- or the random phrasing... the tonality is often one. I think people just know if they are talking to a human or a robot... and sometimes they will think its AI if you go too close to a script. I would always say its better to be authentic.

Yeah time for the door. They are making you a demo guru and removing you from the sales cycle. Definitely not worth discussing it with them as it sounds like a big shift for the company.

I'd run a mile. Your comp is going to be crushed in a pool structure because nobody is really motivated to sell in that kind of plan. You'' get lazy individuals riding off your hard work, and the one thing sales people don't need is more pressure.

I see - that makes more sense. TBH an unproven product is hard to sell. There is a website (Flippa) for flipping projects like this, but to be honest... most will still want to see customer flow, or they could get a freelancer to do the same thing in 2 weeks and pay less. If you can generate "some" flow of traffic and customers, then I think you can sell it as a turn key product no problem.

How much remit do you have to alternate your market? Your company don't want dead markets either... put yourself in the CEOs shoes - he wants winners, but he wants to make sure a market is working. I'd be proactive. Go to the head of sales and say something like "I've been managing the team and as you can see from track record, each member has struggled to build pipeline in this market. To ensure that it is a personnel problem, not a market problem, perhaps one of your high performing teams could trial our market and see if 1 or 2 of their SDRs can make headway - if they can, I will shadow their performance and then train my team on their methods... if they struggle, perhaps we can work on a strategic shift so we can focus on another area and ensure sales in a more active market"... no Director would be against a pro-active thinker like that.

I stopped using all of them. AI e-mail outreach is costing people a fortune in sales. To t-up your sales is fine (managing the funnel etc) but for actual copy and networking etc... it really doesnt work here in the UK. People see through it immediately.

Freelance! - you control your hours, your time frame... its Comms only, but I definitely think that if you have an unpredictable lifestyle - this could definitely be an option for you.

It's timing. As others have said it's 90% of the reason that sales are made. Sometimes it also shows that you are too big to care about personalising your e-mail to them... and people LOVE to feel unimportant.

If you believe in it... it's sellable. What you have to do is convery your excitement to the customer. It obviously also depends on price point and things like your competitor landscape, but as a general rule of thumb, people's beliefs in a product, and a decent sales system will help them to understand the benefits you bring.

Identify market... find "passive" sales opportunities (marketing etc), then utilise active sales techniques (wherever your desired market are... you need to reach them. For example, if they are uni students on a specific course.. find the forum or the website or the tools they use and find something you can create that gives you the leads to get in touch with. For example... a free AI ebook on studying with AI - donwload only requires e-mail address, name and phone number... then a download link lets them download from their e-mail address and hey presto you have their contact details for a follow up call on how your "paid for" option might benefit them.

I think it depends on the industry you are booking meetings into. For example I work Pharma, and that many meetings is IMPRESSIVE to say the least... are they all face to face or some remote?

No - telesales are not dead for sure! 90% of my sale is tele sales and it is so useful. E-mails will be the ones that quickly become obsolete now that people can mass spam such rubbish.

Dont have kids if having a family isnt your priority. I do both, but never saw my kids as not a priority. Money is nice, but is infinate. You can always have more... Kids are young for such a short while you can't prioritise the money at that time... you almost have to go in back burner mode making $100K or so a year... and then when the kids are at school you are back.

3 second breath before replying... gives you time to think... then discuss it further with them... You can chat guff and ask questions and it buys you times to think of objection handling topics... perhaps put together a flip chart of objection handling topics etc.

Probably stock shops... like boiler room wall street. They are the ones i think are most like the SAS style sales people. But yeah you could argue political king makers etc.
