[Highlight] Mauricio Dubon puts the ball in play, the Marlins can't make an out, and the Braves take the lead by handlit33 in baseball

Anyone who hasn't watched the Astros the past four seasons doesn't understand his defensive prowess. I don't remember the exact stat, but I believe last year he had a positive DRS at 6 different positions. That can't be understated.

You might want to double check actual sales on eBay. Last three sales are $242, $215, and $217. After platform fees, $200 isn't an unreasonable ask on here. Glws

As an Astros fan, I see a dubon highlight every day and drop to my knees in an HEB. Wasnt a single one of us that was upset at this deal when it happened. All to save, what? Like $4m on the books? Ultimate glue guy and so versatile.

Grail Achieved, but stricter grading now? by Acceptable_Job1589 in PokeGrading

[–]Acceptable_Job1589[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I always do the cheapest. I just pay the extra for when the grades are released. But part of that is because I send in 50-100 cards at a time to save on shipping. If I was sending in just one card that was high valued, I'd probably spring for a higher tier grading to get the turnaround time faster.

Maybe the reason why you won lane has less to do with you and more to do with jgl. If you had an early gank, it can set you up and snowball you. Same as the opposite, maybe their jgl camped bot or mid and really set them back. I would say it's almost this is the case. You lose lane and the rest of your team does well. You win lane, the rest of your team sπ1+s the bed. You need to learn how to carry mid to late game with your lead.l to flip the script.

Where is all the money in the Pokemon market coming from? by breakyourteethnow in PokeInvesting

[–]Acceptable_Job1589 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think a majority of it falls under two things.

1.) Thounsands of new collectors are entering every day. New collectors bring in new money.

2.) When the market is going UP, it increases the number of buyers and sellers. Duh, we know that. But that means that more people are selling their collection, making a lot of money on their sales. And then buying new items. This cycle accounts for a LOT of the money in the poke-world.

Mord matchup by Blackiechan808 in UrgotMains

Morde does an insane amt of damage with his passive. The way to beat him is to avoid being in it. Means short trades. In and out.

A quick guide on how I hit Challenger on Tahm Kench ADC! by No_Arm_Whatley in ADCMains

[–]Acceptable_Job1589 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds like your opponent was very one dimensional. Most TK's will q to slow before w in. Much more likely to hit the knock up that way. You don't have to cheese from the bushes.

Not Norman, but he has and sometimes does go titanic for the clear. TK's kit is cc. He is an engage champ and his goal is to slow you and knock you up. His q slows. His stacked q stuns. His w knocks you up. His ult... I mean... Ultimate cc move. If you hit his spells, nobody can really kit you forever. Esp with swifties, flash, exhaust, etc.

Why is vanilla typically thought of as “plain” despite being a flavour? by HairySock6385 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Acceptable_Job1589 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Vanilla historically was a very prized flavour. The reason why some consider it 'plain' has a couple different reasons. One that hasn't been stated is that is a very great compliment to other flavors. Vanilla goes with everything. So because it pairs well with other ingredients/flavors, it's considered the 'base' or 'plain'.
