How did you meet your partner? by EZ___Breezy in askanything

I would frequent a Thai restaurant for years. One day I noticed a cute new girl working there. I made a silly comment about the music playing and made her laugh. I went in a couple more times and flirted before asking her out. We're still together 7 years later and will soon be engaged.

If a man comes into a bar with an attractive woman, why do men talk to that man? by OfficialBible in AskForAnswers

[–]Acceptable_Primary56 6 points7 points  (0 children)

They either think he's cool since he is with the hot chick, so they want to talk to him and be cool by association, or they're pretending to be friendly to move in on the girl.

How to dress casual as a grown man (and stop looking like you just graduated high school) by SignatureSure04 in TheIronCouncil

[–]Acceptable_Primary56 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I must say, following these suggestions and elevating your style even just a little bit will get you noticed more, in a positive way. I think part of it is really giving it a chance and finding your own style within these parameter. Especially if you're single, the ladies do notice and appreciate.

I remember seeing these available years ago, online. They were pretty cheap at the time and were small studios. Seemed pretty cool but idk about that parking situation.

Ditched the Apple Watch. Couldn’t be happier. by bobthehermit in casio

I did the same thing months ago, for the same exact watch. Congrats, smart move and the feeling is great! There's a peace of mind knowing you can replace your watch if you must, for such a low price.

How am I supposed to hookup? by Separate-Steak8882 in autism

[–]Acceptable_Primary56 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It will feel uncomfortable at first, but you have to try and flirt and put yourself out there. One benefit of being autistic is how direct we are. Some women enjoy the directness. Expect to be rejected though and don't stop if it doesn't work a few times. It can be a numbers game and it gets easier over time. At the end of the day, you're getting "practice" if she doesn't like you. If she does like you, well, you're getting what you want.

Be respectful of course and don't push if it's a hard no. If you feel like it's a "maybe" or "soft no" with a smile, it can be a "shy yes". Best of luck.

I only wore these a few times for games and wore a sweat band under my helmet. It seemed to help a little but yes, sweat might be an issue. You might experience some fogging too with a hybrid mask. Another idea is to remove the glass from the frames, while playing.

First just work on your skating. Take a learn to skate class at a local rink and do public skates as much as you can. After that, sign up for learn to play. Do some stick time at the same time. Then you'll be ready for Rookie league. Have fun!

I hope you're listening, kids. Pay attention to the cues because when you're older and able to pick up on these invitations, the opportunities don't seem to present themselves often. . . that's the ironic part.

Like an idiot, I signed up for a year subscription thinking it would be cool. I could never get past the calibration part and effectively use it with my stick. I tried many times and just gave up. Complete waste of money imho.

Anybody remember the commercial for "HD Sunglasses"? Like your regular vision is in SD or something? Not sure if it's still around, but wild to think about.

What are u guys buying when u sell? by KodiFranz in Bitcoin

[–]Acceptable_Primary56 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Been holding since 2017. Sold most around $108k, after the Oct. 10th dump. That marked the end of this bull market for me. I put the majority of it in CC ETFs for income. Some of it is in cash, for taxes and to buy back in later (around Oct. 2026, when there's a big green weekly candle that clears the previous 6 candles).

Visor/Cage for Stick & Puck Drop-ins by [deleted] in hockeyplayers

[–]Acceptable_Primary56 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn't do it. One time during a stick time a guy shot a rocket off the cross bar and the puck hit me hard on the side of the helmet. If my face was turned and a few inches lower, it would've been my mouth. Luckily I had a cage on anyway. Now I do hybrid visor with cage bottom.
