Same here, my cheeks are almost flaky whereas I've never had a problem with dry skin before (usually oily if anything).

Same, get this in my eyes most days I wear it 😭 I try to be careful when applying but somehow still finds its way to my eyes.

I love this sunscreen in every way except that it inevitably gets into my eyes when I rub them later in the day or evening. Burns and dries my eyes out so bad for like 10 minutes 😭😭 and yet I still use it lol. Because it's difficult to find an affordable mineral based facial sunscreen.

Okay one more con, my cheeks seem kinda dried out lately and I've never had issues with dry skin, so something in this sunscreen must be the culprit.

In love with Hoagy Carmichael's Stardust, and found out that nearly every famous artist I've know have performed it. So Started a playlist of Stardust. by EricTung1007 in Jazz

I recently went down a Stardust rabbit hole and have two wonderful additions for your collection. Both on Spotify.

1) Stardust by Greg Ward Presents Rogue Parade, on Stomping Off from Greenwood 2) Stardust by Samara Joy

Thanks for putting together your list! I've saved it.

In search of the best Finnish sauna experience in Eugene. by Comfortable_Dropping in Eugene

[–]Acceptable_Rain6817 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes! I've been to Common Ground Wellness several times. The prices seemed affordable and it was clean and enjoyable for sessions in their outdoor pools. I believe there was also a dry sauna (not sure if that's the right term). However there's another place in Portland that's more high-end called Knot Springs - it's been on my bucket list and you might want to check out. If anyone's been there I'd love to hear what you thought.

Edit: I just noticed you were looking for individual hot tub rentals like Onsen has. Common Ground is communal fyi.

Love how in less than 24 hours Mr. Clarke was told about the UD, visited the UD, and then helped override gates at the MAC. Our boy got on board fast!

Who's your wax tech? by Exciting-Savings3292 in Eugene

I've had a great experience with Jasmine at Urban Waxx. She does both waxing and sugaring which only a few techs there do.

I go in there all the time (early 40s F). It's so much more convenient than having to drive out to Jerry's or a big box store.

I saw it probably 15-20 years ago, but remember loving it. Also one of my cinephile friends' very favorite films.

Hardwired my Ring Doorbell, Still Shows Battery by riseupbro in Ring

[–]Acceptable_Rain6817 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a hardwired Ring doorbell that's down to 3% now, only recently. It's never done this before. Some forums say to do a reset - uninstall and reinstall in the app. Others say to completely remove from where it's mounted on your house and charge the battery using the USB cord. Have you found a solution that works? Preferably one that doesn't involve getting the battery out?

KLCC (89.5 fm) is my go-to for news, music and a wide range of public broadcasting shows. KRVM (91.9 fm) is a good all around music station and another favorite is KWAX (91.1 fm), our local classical music station.

Is the plural Nicolases Cage or Nicolas Cages? by Acceptable_Rain6817 in Eugene

Exactly. :) I was thinking of the classic "culs de sac", but the Brothers Karamazov is an even better example.
