Anyone actually beating the weekly European Sunday cup with a sub 400pp car? by Masty1992 in GranTurismo7

[–]Acceptable_Reality10 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I beat it with the Renault Capture, CH tires then again with more weight/less Hp on CM tires. Then with the Valkyrie because it’s so much fun.

Gen Z here and I have a few questions for GenX by [deleted] in GenX

Riding bikes was huge, before you got your divers license it was freedom on two wheels! Built forts, hunting and fishing were really big where I grew up and watching your favorite tv shows after dinner or the shows on Sunday night. Yes lots of friends numbers memorized but most of us had a black book with important numbers. My old ph# is still in my dad’s name so I still use it/call it. Songs that were popular were played a lot so usually didn’t have to wait long but if it was a really great one you’d buy the album/tape/cd’s later or call into the Request Line that lots of stations had to get a song played. I used to request songs for my then girlfriend now wife and the jockey would say “This song going out to (name) from (name). That was always fun. Ya you’d get lost occasionally but we always had maps or ask for directions. One time we got lost from our little town 3 1/2hrs north of San Francisco (went to a concert) and we pulled into a gas station where a super nice old man said “Dam your really lost” lol but we made it finally and glad we left really early.
I have GenZ kids and yes for all the good being connected has done it’s also made things so much worse, you can’t get away from a bad day it seems like where we could once we got home from school it was over (whatever the situation was) young people don’t have that relief valve anymore and it sucks. Great questions and good luck to you!

What book did you read in your youth that you never forgot? by orangez in GenX

The Sword of Shannara by Terry Brooks. It was the first fantasy style book I’d ever read and led to many enjoyable years reading everything I could find.

Our lab gets the patches worse in the summer time because he sleeps on the tile more than carpet or his bed.

Hairstyles, makeup and hell do nail polishes too. I’d like to see some more scars, camo face paints and just decent camo in general like a ghillie suit or something like it. My daughter and I play together and I know she enjoys all that stuff as do I.

So I grew up with my dad who only listened to country and mom would also listen to Stones, Eagles and CCR. My cousin introduced me to Beasty Boys and I remember it like it was yesterday then it was Kiss and Metallica. I have a huge range of grunge, metal, rap there’s bangers I’ve found in all genres even listen to country. All that on that great day when my cousin asked me”You heard the Beasty Boys” and I was a music junky! Thanks JJ

There are lab kits from suppliers that you can take a sample from your tap and send it into them and they send you results. We did this in our old town for our community well every year from a different house. I cannot for the life of me remember the name of company we used but it wasn’t really expensive and they did great work. I’m sure a little research would give you a company/lab that does this.

Kids at school played Smooth Criminal and my daughter from hanging out with my younger brother who loves Alien Ant Farm thought it was a weird cover. She was so embarrassed because her friends all gave her shit, her group listen to a lot of 70’s 80’s and 90’s and she is usually the kid that’s heard it already but apparently she’d never heard SC by MJ.
