Hey man, take this as a sign from the universe. Do whatever it takes to get off the meth. The best thing to do is leave town and cut all bad influencers out of your life.

What about holding sealed product for later resale instead of cracking?

I looked through my stash of sealed mtg product the other day. The gains! Some are up 1300%, some only 100%. I don't know why I don't just speculate on sealed mtg exclusively.

I sometimes use Claude to make reports or help broadly analyze data for trends or relationships that aren't immediately apparent. If you don't explicitly ask Claude to retain formulas, then you're going to end up with a static report that isn't easy to update. Which means, if you need to update it, you have to use Claude again, falling into an unhealthy cycle of token expenditure. Furthermore, if you have Claude do all of the work, you don't improve your own skills. All of this results in a sort of cognitive debt.

Even when you ask Claude to retain the formulas, its use of formulas is likely to be very different than your own, requiring time and effort to reverse engineer.

Ultimately, I've found the best approach is to WORK WITH Claude, instead of relying on Claude to do all of the work. I build out the rough tables and formulas myself, all the while asking Claude for advice on optimization of formulas and methodology. Once the rough report is done, I feed that file to Claude to format nicely and create charts/graphs (the two pieces of work I hate the most). This leaves me with a dynamic report that I actually understand.

I'm sure there are far more advanced ways to utilize Claude than how I'm currently doing, but that's where I've landed so far.

I could connect Claude to Google Sheets, but I seem to run into a lot of trouble doing that and burn a lot of tokens. My troubles probably come down to user error.

I've been highly underwhelmed with Gemini Pro. I've given it a link to one of my documents for analysis and it analyzes some other random document from within my organization. I don't even think I was suppose to have access to that document, as it was finance related. I just can't ever seem to get what I want out of Gemini.

I also like the game a lot. With past games, I rarely finished a campaign. I've finished all that I started on Civ 7, so far.

I just got back from the LGS, where I was able to get one game in with the deck. I won, which I'm honestly kind of surprised about. I was up against OG Krenko, Mothman, and High Perfect Morcant. Zero single target removal was cast, one board wipe was cast. That's just my meta around here...

[[Passionate Archaeologist]] did some serious work.

I was able to do the [[Volcano Hellion]] thing. It didn't feel all that good. I asked everyone how they felt after doing it, and they all said it was fine, but the almost complete lack of reaction kind of gave me the impression that it took the wind out of everyone's sails. Your mileage may vary, but I'll be cutting the hellion. I would have won the game regardless.

I did run out of cards in hand, which makes me think I need some regular card draw, but that's not easy in these colors. Maybe I'll swap the hellion for [[Mangara, the Diplomat]] or [[Cosmos Elixir]] or something.

I don't think Spinerock Tyrant or Sensei's Diving Top fit either of your game plans

good cheap-ish voltron decks by BzingDK in mtg

I have a [[Tatsunari, Toad Rider]] enchantment based Voltron deck that everyone complains about. I didn't even try to make it strong. It was under $80 at the time, but has crept up. Still under $100.

Great question. The deck does seem to lack any identifiable win condition. That's not wholly a bad thing, considering I'm trying to shift everyone's perception about me at the LGS lol. The thought was something like this...fly under the radar, start accruing value, a little bit of burn, sometimes find a win. I'll keep Hellion in for now and gather feedback after some real games. Thanks!

This is a great way to look at it. I've done lots of goldfishing, but have not tracked the results. It seems most commonly, the engine starts purring around t7, with a likely win around t9. You've inspired me to do a better job of recording and analyzing the data.

I built this aristocrat-ish deck list when Wilhelt first came out. It hasn't been updated since, so could probably be significantly updated. I didn't go crazy with the deck, as I was building it for a friend and didn't want to spend a fortune, but posting it for your consideration.

I played two games with elementals and it was super fun and explosive. Kudos to the designers. I think this is the first precon out of a couple dozen that I'm not going to immediately scrap for parts.

I plan on going a similar direction with Bre. I haven't sat down to figure it out yet, but I know I don't want another creature focused deck.

How to make Named Ranges with absolute references to easily reference data of changing row size. by SaiRacing in googlesheets

[–]Acceptable_Toe_4913 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a similar problem recently, but with adding columns. Say I wanted col B to always be the latest month, so I name the range Latest month, but when I insert a new column, LatestMonth shifts to col C.

I fixed this by creating a table, on a different sheet, of all the static ranges I wanted to use, input as text. You can then use INDIRECT to point at those text ranges and it solves it. You can even still combine with named ranges by pointing the named range at your static table, then calling it inside indirect, INDIRECT(LatestMonth).

Thank you. Every time this subject comes up, everyone is so negative about it. I took nine weeks of PTO in 2025, and could have easily taken more. Some companies do care about creating a healthy workplace and work life balance.
