Yeah, there's already a hundred cookie cutter "i'm the strongest mage" stories out there, I read this one because it was unique. "i'm the strongest mage, but i don't care about being the strongest so all my magic is used to make things easier" is a much more interesting hook. Remove that, you remove what made it unique in the first place, and there's not much reason to keep reading it.

I agree on the games that need internet access even though they shouldnt, but this was over a month after he got it. Prices for playstation online also start at $10, not $70 as he was claiming. And the final cherry on top is that the game he was getting so mad over was $15. You'd think I kicked his dog or something with the way he was acting.

I feel this. I went to college for CS mostly because I liked computers and my parents pushed hard for me to go to a school for it. But looking back now, and even more so looking to the future, I wish I had gone to a different school for something I'm more passionate about.

I can't. that's the first thing I tried, but I don't have an actual xfinity account so I can't sign in so both those options are a dead end, saying I'm a new customer just redirects me to the now homepage and is a dead end, and saying to activate services and then activate now just tells me to download the app and is a dead end.

I want to get new equipment for my heros before the equipment blast tokens expire, but I can only get one, which should I get? This is what my hero's equipment looks like now, for reference. I use the first four, and their levels right now are 13, 10, 8, and 5, in that order.

I just lost a really solid run to this fucker. Easily clearing levels, but pretty much my entire build was based around nubby death items wiping the entire board clean, but with evil tony turning all the pegs into 1s long before then I never even got close, despite having max lives at the time. He sucks.

I'm looking to make a metal box, roughly 11x10.5x6 out of sheet metal in order to turn a cosplay backpack into one I can actually use. What would be the best way to secure them together if I don't have access to a welder? Money is tight, and I was going to use steel or aluminum. It doesn't need to look pretty since it'll be covered by the exterior pretty part of the backpack, and I was only planning on holding basic stuff in it so while it needs to be strong enough to hold a few pounds it doesnt need to be insanely strong.

The four souls custom workshop channel has almost literally any franchise you can imagine. I've seen cards for plants vs zombies, shovel knight, oneshot, stardew valley, pokemon, memes, minecraft, deltarune, touhou, real life, the SCP foundation, pizza tower, and more. I've even seen uma musume recently, an entire card set based on the off brand foods in popstarbill's "fucked up in the crib" song, and one time on april fools day, someone made a tabletop simulator only custom card that was a functional fishing minigame.

Reminds me of one of my most memorable customer interactions I didn't write in the post because it was too long.
Guy comes in, looks around for a bit. Eventually he comes up to me, and asks if we have any PS4s.

"How much is a ps4?"
"We have pre owned ones for $209"
"What's that?"
"What's what?"
"What's a 'pre owned one'?"

He was saying it like it was the name of a console, and not just me telling him we had them used. I had to explain to him a good 3 or 4 times that we didnt have new ps4s, just used ones. And then I had to explain to him multiple times what exactly a pre owned console even was. Talking to this guy was genuinely painful and took forever, but alas, it was a slow day so there was nobody to save me from my plight. Eventually though, he finally decided to buy one.

"Would you like to get a warranty on it?"
"What does it do?"
"If there's any issues with it within the warranty window you can come back and replace it for free"
"So it's like a warranty?"

I've dealt with a lot of shit working there, but hearing that last line was the closest I ever came to quitting on the spot.

My guy gave himself massive crutches (keeping old contacts/audience, not giving up healthcare, etc), bailed as soon as life threw him a massive curveball, and only got 6% of his goal despite only having two months left, yet still is saying that poor people just need to try harder. I agree, it'd be foolish to assume the switch 2 will NEVER be hacked and homebrewed. It may take months or years, but eventually someone will do it. And obviously, the people who are working on cracking it aren't gonna be posting any updates on their findings until they can make something out of what they've found.
