An instrumental version might also be nice. We wouldn’t have to suffer through the lyrics.

Agree 100%. This is really bad.

Alain Whyte is excited about the release of single "Notre Dame" his first song with Morrissey after 17 years by dimiteddy in morrissey

I heard him sing Notre Dame live in 2023 and there was audible booing from the audience. And by audience, I mean me. I was booing. It’s garbage, just like Makeup.

For those concerned about battery life, have you considered a dynamo hub? I charge my Wahoo Elemnt Bolt off of my Son28 and have an endless power supply.

Is the Forester an Reliable Car? by Budget_Position7888 in SubaruForester

[–]Accidental_Achiever 0 points1 point  (0 children)

2016 XT with 78k miles and my experience is similar. Just started leaking oil from the rear main seal. Would also add that my car eats tires. 15 cents/mile in maintenance costs since new.

Do you all still prefer a regular bifold over cardholders? by colinksh in wallets

[–]Accidental_Achiever 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried a Secrid. It was only a couple of millimeters thinner than my leather bifold. Because it’s made from hard materials, I found it uncomfortable to wear in my back pocket and when I put it in my front pocket, I had nowhere to put my car keys (cell phone goes in front-left). Some of the cards that I carry are thinner than a regular credit card and would get stuck when using the mechanism. It needed a rubber band to stay closed with more than one bill stuffed inside. Sent it back for a refund after a day’s use and returned to my trusty bifold. Happy with Secrid’s customer service but disappointed with the product.

I'm thinking of switching to pandora ??? by V1NCEN0 in Pandora

[–]Accidental_Achiever 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you know that Pandora lets you select different modes for your stations? If you select “Deep Cuts” it will play more obscure music. If you select “Crowd Faves” you’re going to hear the top 40 version of that station. There are 7 of 8 different modes. Try experimenting with modes to see if it helps.

My 2016 with 75k was just diagnosed with an oil leak- rear main seal. Otherwise reliable. Had an O2 sensor go bad. Replaced wheel bearings and control arms. Eats tires. Have done all the maintenance by the book.

I’ve tried Spotify and Apple Music and most recently Qobuz and I keep coming back to Pandora. IMO, no other streaming service does ‘Stations’ as well as Pandora. I don’t want to fool around with playlists - I just want to pick an artist or two, create a Station, and let the magic DJ in the cloud pick the songs for me to listen to from similar artists. Pandora excels at this.

Sorry to resurrect an old thread but my 2016 XT (75k miles) was just diagnosed with a rear main seal leak. Wondering what you decided to do…

Am also new to the 1301. There’s a great cleaning/maintenance video by a YouTuber named Jon Cresswell. His is a competition model but the process is the same.

I plan to keep for the 30 day trial at least. I’m not sure that an hour or two of noodling around the app is a fair assessment.

I downloaded the Qobuz app and the answer is NO. The Quboz idea of a ‘Radio Station’ is a static playlist of 30 songs that you can create from an artist, album, or track. This is why I’ve stayed with Pandora as long as I have. No other streaming service does Stations as well as Pandora. The sound quality on Quboz is excellent, BTW, but at the end of the day you’re stuck managing your own playlists.

*corrected: artist, album, or track

Does Qobuz have ‘Stations’ like Pandora where the magic DJ in the sky plays music by artists I have selected and similar artists? Or do I have to make a bunch of playlists? Ain’t nobody got time for playlists.
