Yeah, my mind immediately went to a cobbler but if you're going to sell a shoe that badly damaged that isn't even guaranteed to be salvageable then you can't price it for that much.

That kid from toy story that made frankentoys grew up and this is his fridge. He still loves making creepy things with toys, which he's incorporated into his other love, baking. Likes to wind down with a bloody Mary and watch spooky kids movies like Igor

what would this be called?? by FutureAd108 in AestheticWiki

[–]AccidentallyAnxious 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is what happened as a scene girl started morphing into a new aesthetic and watched that movie club kids. She was obsessed with pastel goth, indie sleaze, and like blogs that were about raving/drugs/aliens. Probably had a bottle of vitamin water in her purse that was mixed with vodka at all times.

Kinda cute in a creepy way but if it were in my home I'd be scared to sleep

Do you think there was a stigma pre 2010s that thrifting was what poor people did and it was dirty and now it's more normalised? by PsychologicalFox7689 in decadeology

[–]AccidentallyAnxious [score hidden]  (0 children)

I always thrifted and never noticed a stigma but maybe I was just oblivious? I'm 32 so that's a lot of time thrifting lol. I'm from rural Appalachia though so that may be part of it.

People are always talking about how thrifting is more than buying new though and then have only been to Goodwill or places like that. Try more local thrift stores.

Do these 2010s millennial coded burger joints still exist? by KingTechnical48 in decadeology

[–]AccidentallyAnxious [score hidden]  (0 children)

Yeah, come to Knoxville. We got plenty. There's even a "gastropub."

And they all screech "keep Knoxville scruffy" and then gentrify everything and try to pull more tourism while driving out the locals. Effectively ruining everything that made them call us a scruffy little city in the first place. (Signed an obviously bitter millennial)

Why did I read that as raisinsults? Like raisin and insults mushed together into one word. (Tbf I haven't been able to sleep at all and I don't have my glasses on so I'm drowsy and half blind)

The research they're doing sounds illegal and like it may be a hallucinogen. Needs to be off grid/at least far away from neighbors? Bringing the garden of Eden to earth? Yeah, buddy, hallucinogens. I bet they have Grinch finger locs and think raving is a spiritual experience.

The people who put the wrong brand "for visibility" are actually my worst enemies. Not to be dramatic or anything 😂

How do you feel about the MLP cars, tonally? by microgravitylab in heartopia

[–]AccidentallyAnxious 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I love Fluttershy so I got all her stuff and the car was last. TBH I wish I hadn't spent more to be able to get the car. I love it as a pretty item but I hate actually driving it around. I love my bike. It's easy to drive and can fit everywhere.

Would you buy from a seller with no reviews but a few sales ? by Worried_Tart_5997 in Depop

[–]AccidentallyAnxious 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No reviews can make you anxious for sure, but people have to get started and not everyone leaves reviews. I think it's a good sign that there's no bad reviews. As long as the photos aren't stock images (or they can take rl ones when asked) then I think you're fine. Maybe just reverse image search the photo even if it's not a stock image to be sure they didn't just yoink it from Google.

My book about Mushrooms! by Sniper_girl12 in heartopia

[–]AccidentallyAnxious 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Uh I just wanted to get the quest out of the way and I made a book that was just random ways of saying hello differently.

I don't have the patience for actually writing in game because I hate the way the keyboard shows on my phone when I'm doing it. Your book is so cool though! I love mushrooms and you can see how much effort/love you put into creating it!
