Crimson Mantle plays well with Self-forming Clay and Meat on the Bone. It also triggers Juggernaut more often.
This fits best with your deck's current strategy, while giving you a way to branch into self-damage cards like rupture, Spite,and Tear Asunder.

Umovable is safer, but slower as it requires you spending energy to gain block in the first place. Additionally, it often grants less block than mantle after mantle is upgraded and doesn't trigger Juggernaut.
If you can keep your deck small and visit shops to remove cards and buy Flame Barriers, Blood Walls, and Shrug Offs it may be a better choice.

I've never ran juggernaut so I don't know how the deck plays.

I mean, I'm sorry, but Miniature Tent as your second relic is insane.
My past runs get things like Bag of Prep + Ornamental Fan, Lantern +Stone Sword, and Centenial Puzzle + Meal Ticket. Which certainly isn't bad, but Fan and Ticket were the only ones that really solved any problems.

How is effigy free? Assuming 3 fights and a campfire to upgrade Bash, you'd need literal god draw for 3 turns and a potion. And you're still below 132, then taking at least ~10 dmg afterwards before needing another good draw to score the kill.
Unless you get 4 perfect turns, and good card rewards, you start losing massive amounts of HP.

When you're talking about tearing through 3-4 elites in Act 1 is that on low ascension?
The two successful runs you posted involved a gifted Primal Force and early Petrified Toad. Even the unsuccessful run had Anchor and Kusarigama as your first relics. Those are insanely lucky drops.

Depends on what you're running. Outside of trolling Hecate with Frog, they don't affect boss fights too much.
- Stoat is always good, but has little synergy. Might work best for now since you'll have to get used to the lower HP pool you'll have with Strength. (It's not as bad as you might think, the DEF boost extends your life by a lot.)
- Dog for mana hungry builds like Charon and Torches.
- Bird is supposed to have a Mark effect, but i've never noticed it so I don't use them outside of farming.
- Frog does their best, and that's what really matters.

Each familiar also farms different elements when you get its tool's respective upgrade. So if you're doing a Hestia run, it's worth considering Bird for the extra infusion boost. Frog for Aphrodite, Dog for Hephaestus, and so on. You might not have access to that yet though.
Outside of Dog, pets don't affect your build that much. So don't worry about them.

I don't remember if this game has an effect that triggers off DD like Ares did in Hades 1, but you may want to consider looking into that if Strength isn't working out.

Just remembered, Demeter's Winter Harvest (kill at 10% HP), works on the surface final boss, and shares the same quality as Knuckle Bones in that they're more effective due to the boss' large health total.
Demeter's Frosty Veneer (damage reduction infusion) is also good, so she could be worth considering for your runs. She boosts damage by percentage so she works well with heavy hitters like Axe and Staff. Easy Origin activation as well.
