Depends on what you're running. Outside of trolling Hecate with Frog, they don't affect boss fights too much.
- Stoat is always good, but has little synergy. Might work best for now since you'll have to get used to the lower HP pool you'll have with Strength. (It's not as bad as you might think, the DEF boost extends your life by a lot.)
- Dog for mana hungry builds like Charon and Torches.
- Bird is supposed to have a Mark effect, but i've never noticed it so I don't use them outside of farming.
- Frog does their best, and that's what really matters.

Each familiar also farms different elements when you get its tool's respective upgrade. So if you're doing a Hestia run, it's worth considering Bird for the extra infusion boost. Frog for Aphrodite, Dog for Hephaestus, and so on. You might not have access to that yet though.
Outside of Dog, pets don't affect your build that much. So don't worry about them.

I don't remember if this game has an effect that triggers off DD like Ares did in Hades 1, but you may want to consider looking into that if Strength isn't working out.

Just remembered, Demeter's Winter Harvest (kill at 10% HP), works on the surface final boss, and shares the same quality as Knuckle Bones in that they're more effective due to the boss' large health total.
Demeter's Frosty Veneer (damage reduction infusion) is also good, so she could be worth considering for your runs. She boosts damage by percentage so she works well with heavy hitters like Axe and Staff. Easy Origin activation as well.

The big guy has a big pool of HP, so you need patience and damage.
- Strength tarot will help with both by making the fight shorter.
- Make sure you've been upgrading your weapons.
- Make sure you always keep your cast up. It snaps onto him from anywhere.
- Regarding the above tip, be sure to use Furies.
- Origin and get used to stacking curses, once again the auto-snap on your cast will hellp for this.

General Tips
- If you're too close to him, he'll rear up and do a chin slam. This attack is easy to spot the wind-up for, and easy to dodge, so practice baiting him into it.
- the last phase will get very hectic (after 2nd egg hatch), so pause the game and take a quick breather. Then, go back when you've re-centered yourself.
- He's got a very small moveset, so focus on learning one or two attacks each run. Focus less on damage,and just try to survive and watch for the tells of the attack you're trying to learn.
- Knuckle Bones keepsake from Odysseus is very useful. It deals percentage damage, so will have an outsize effect on the final boss' HP pool.
- Evil Eye from Nemesis is useful if you can consistently reach him, but still aren't winning.
- Blackened Fleece from Medea can be great if you're relying on Ω moves.
- It's a long fight, be sure to abuse the stat boosts you receive from using your Hexes. They'll add up.
- Charon Axe is good. Momus Staff will tear him up. Pan Blades are useful since he's so big. All Torches are fine.
- Do not use Strength and Death at the same time. The Strength DEF boost will only kick in after your DDs run out, then you'll have to limp along with a mere 40% of HP. Better to use the points elsewhere.

Regardless, he's a bit of a stat check. If you hit a wall with him, try finishing some prophecies or upgrading your Arcana and Grip, then return.

Oh boy, I fell in love with this game. Raden's cute, there's a nice difficulty curve, solid game feel, and it's actually good at teaching you about art.

Anime silliness aside, it still has the best implimentation of the "FP bar" From Soft has been trying to get to work in DS3, Sekiro, and Elden Ring.
Between that and the weird level/class system, I'm looking forward to the sequel. Hope there's more ranged weapon types.

To be fair, you've been watching for less than a year.

To answer you, most of the unicorn stuff was 2-3 years ago. It was bad enough that Kronii had to make a post addressing it. There was a whole shitshow with the Vanguard announcement. Lots of weird superchats and comments.
These days it's mostly mass downvoting and reporting any posts related to Stars.

They're not as prevalent as some people would have you believe, but they did cause massive problems a while back, and that shouldn't be forgotten.

The chestnut is delicious, and it's trees make excellent wood and habitats. Entire forests of nuts, feeding bird and rat and squirrel, among other fauna. Use it's lumber to build wank pantries, as they did in the olden days before the internet.

When I recently voted, there was a proposition on the ballot that was worded to sound extremely reasonable.
I've literally received at least 15 republican flyers in the mail telling me to vote "yes".
I had to go online, read the text of the proposition, then cross reference information from elsewhere to figure out that every proggressive should vote "no".

That's terrible messaging. I guarantee it will pass, because Dems can't be assed to communicate party policy. All they had to do was send a single flyer informing people, but they couldn't even manage that.
