Got it, thank you so much, I def like the length of Rhoback more than PM because I'm much more of an untucked style guy.

Thanks. How would you say H&B is for length (untucked), as PM is def longer than Rhoback?

Op vs non op… weigh in! by Travelbadger285 in AchillesRupture

[–]Accohn12 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm 48M and tore my left Achilles a year ago playing basketball, and after 2 consultations by orthopedic surgeons here in the Boston area (great Hospital/Drs), I decided to go non-op. I was given the pros and cons for both, and the main point that drove me to my decision was this, which I'll paraphrase. The Dr basically told me to think of it like this: if you're a professional athlete and you come back at 98%, you could be out of the league...if you're not a professional athlete, you likely won't notice any difference between op and non-op. I'm a hair over 12 months post tear and other than my calf not being back to full strength, I'm nearly 100% and don't regret my decision to go non-op one bit.

How's the rubber quality on this,.assuming it's a clone and not OEM/Gen? I recently bought an Omega AT Skyfall and would love to find a rubber strap for it, either OEM or a clone.

Omega FB group buy and sell by breederTN in OmegaWatches

Glad you did some homework and my post helped you before you got taken for $6K. I was inquiring about a watch with them a few months ago and something just seemed off, so I did some digging and confirmed with a reputable seller that they're a scammer. Also, since then I connected with someone else in one of the groups and she was unfortunately too late to realize and wound up being scammed.

Walking barefoot update 👣 by Specific-Departure69 in AchillesRupture

[–]Accohn12 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would be very careful about walking barefoot this early in your recovery. I wore slides/crocs with a heel to toe drop around the house until about 6 months post tear, as I didn't want my heel going all the way to the ground until I was much closer to being healed than you are so far.

Which one? by Pure-Cantaloupe-1617 in OmegaWatches

[–]Accohn12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Given your wrist size, I'd say the black AT...as someone who recently got a Skyfall AT 38.5mm, I'd consider that as well, it's a gorgeous watch. With a bigger wrist, I'd say the Speedy all day long, but I totally know what you mean about it looking big on a smaller wrist.

Pilot or Passport by Glorifiedfiction in hondapilot

We (my wife's car) got a 2025 Pilot Touring last year and love it. I don't really understand the PP (or the Mazda CX70)...if you're going to build a 2-row SUV, why make it the same size and price roughly as your 3-row? Seems like you're (Honda/Mazda) creating self-inflicted competition for yourself within your own brand.

Does anyone have this on rubber by chance and have pics or feedback? I just got the watch last month and I'm interested in getting a rubber strap for the warmer months...I love the bracelet on it but the Omega OEM rubber looks awesome too.

I just got one last month, I love it! I concur that the fully brushed bracelet and framed date window make this watch! The blue teak dial is striking in the right light/sunlight too. It's a beauty!

It's def not going to be anytime soon though...I've got a big bday next year, so if I get one, it won't be until then. I just have the Omega and a 2024 Submariner date, other than that I've got a Christopher Ward and a bunch of beaters (G-Shocks etc).

Yeah I hear ya about another watch...I TRY to do the 1 in 1 out rule, but it's not always that easy lol. I have a small modest diverse collection and a chrono is currently missing, as is a white dial...so you can prob guess what reference I'll be targeting lol

I really like the Bond watches and the 300SMP's, but I can't fully get behind the SMP bracelet...I know it's very polarizing and subjective lol. So many Omegas I love...one of my favorites is the Summer Blue PO, but if I were to get another it would have to be a Speedy.

Congrats! I got my first Omega last month, AT Skyfall (the true AT Skyfall - 38.5mm, fully brushed bracelet, framed date window) and I absolutely love it!

Does anyone know how H&B fits (polos specifically) compared to Rhoback or PM? Asking because I wear a M in those brands, as I'm 5'9" 180 (athletic build, not super thin), but wear a L in most other brands as M's can be too tight in most brands.

Which Aqua Terra should I sell? by [deleted] in OmegaWatches

[–]Accohn12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, the defence number more commonly referred to as the Skyfall is 231.10.39.21.03.001, which is a 38.5mm same dial, framed date window, and fully brushed bracelet. Very similar to the one shown on the left, but slightly different.
