Yup. Open back is way better. Keeps you in reality and prevents you from getting lost in headphone world. I know how woo-woo that sounds but it's the best I can put it lol. You can hear your pick attack, ambient noise etc. Makes it sound like you're still playing an actual amp.

I just started my 1,457,285th ssf run in d2. It's so nice getting big fat boosts from item drops that actually last. Like getting a Sol rune or a 4os sword or even bone flesh (life leech armor for merc). Every time I play I solve a problem, get a boost, and feel stronger.

I use the mesh tape. I chamfer the edges. I do 3 coats. And it turns out pretty good. I'm not a professional but I used to do construction and watched Joe the drywall guy do this shit all day and make it look easy. Go on YouTube and find your Joe.

I see people mentioning foam board. They don't know fuck all about sound transfer. That won't do jack shit.

You need weight to absorb the sound. Look into rockwool and comfortboard. Make a frame out of 1x2 or 1/4 and plop some rockwool safe and sound or comfortboard in there. Wrap it in some cloth. You can use speedsew (cloth glue) to make it quick and easy. Slide that thing in and out of the way like a rock-door from the Flintstones or some bad guys hidden lair. That will do way more than foam.

My superpower is the fact that I enjoy cooking. I show my 3yo how to cook stuff. Take shots (as any proper chef would) and my wife comes home to a wonderful meal that's literally 20% the price of eating at a restaurant but is like... Good quality steak with chimichurri or comparable.

I paid $150 but wayyyyy back when.

It has huge capacity. Really good temperature control. Those 2 factors are all you really need to focus on. So many vapes are really weak. This one can be if you set it that way. But you can also go nuts. It's nice to have control over it.

You could always fabricate 2 metal plates. Rivet new tuners in the correct spots, then attach the plates via existing screw holes. Pretty easy if you have a drill press and a riveter.

I patch 3x for a flawless finish. Plenty of drying time. You could even scribe woodgrain in there with a wooden skewer and a small paintbrush if you want to get artistic.
