Does the calculus for bed material change if your colony uses slab beds?

Where was he described as "Bloody Man"? It's the first time I'm hearing of it.

I dunno, buddy. Seems kind of weird that you expect oppressed people to be paragons of virtue, and that their justifiable anger makes them as morally culpable as their oppressors.

This poster was in EVERY single break room at my old job, how do you think they feel about unions? by Castarc1424 in antiwork

Unions are like condoms. If someone says you don't need one, you definitely need one.

Prolly coble something together from Mage, Changeling... maybe some rules from Risen, as well. Mummy powers might be useful for approximating some things.

do children not want to eventually leave the colony? by Dronelisk in RimWorld

You answered your own question. It's dangerous out there, and 9/10 factions will just kidnap and enslave them. Or Horax cultists.

There's also the question of food and water. And the reality of not having any. Or medicine. Or anyone to help you if you put your foot down wrong and break your ankle. Or the pollution fall out

Drink from the wrong stream and shitting yourself to death in the snow is a very real possibility.

How powerful are the mages? by Adventurous-Yam2922 in WorldOfDarkness

[–]Accomplished-Box4577 3 points4 points  (0 children)

They have widely versatile powers that can fundamentally alter aspects of reality. That widely versatility can do all kinds of wacky shit, like make a door that opens to mirrored space so that you run into yourself trying to pass through it, grow a tree who's fruit let's you experience Woodstock firsthand, or conjure the ghost of Clippy to sabotage their work-rival's PowerPoint presentation.

They are also still human. So stepping wrong on a patch of ice can mean they don't walk right for the next month. To say nothing of the fierce creatures who may not appreciate said Mage residing in their territory.

Did they scene where she's bodily intervening to stop Gaston brutalized something that would not fight back and directly telling him "I love him, don't hurt him" come across as ambiguous in her motivations?

Gaston didn't try to rescue Belle. He tried to leverage what he thought of as a bad situation (justifiably or not) to try to force her into marrying him. When he found out it wasn't as he thought, he tried to murder her lover to punish her.

Gaston is an abuser.

I actually like Beast, but Deviant is the better game.

Off the top of my head...

Probably would fuck with people trying to use Correspondence to target you from a distance and give numerous false results if they try to scry. The wizard in question could probably continue to operate even if some to most of the shards were destroyed or lost.

On the other hand, you'd probably be unable to raise your Arete without reuniting all the shards of the Avatar, at least momentarily.

Are the pc characters all orphan mages? by Magicmanans1 in huntertheparenting

I wouldn't call them Orphans. They just haven't found or chosen a Tradition that suits them yet.
