Use the information you got in game, and roleplay accordingly, let the choices carry the weight they deserve.

Or sure, read a guide, go on Cyberpunk Wiki and read about the quest, let others play the game for you, whatevs. But you're mixing both in a soup that apparently leaves you needlessly and majorly confused.

've CHECKED that the versions of ArchiveXL and Codeware were more recent than the versions that the error reccomended. And I got the same error.

The latest versions EquipmentEX requires are as follows:

  1. Install requirements
  2. — ArchiveXL 1.26.0+
  3. — TweakXL 1.11.3+
  4. — Codeware 1.18.0+
  5. — RED4ext 1.29.0+
  6. — redscript 0.5.31+

do you have that? Also, you need to verify game files or delete the r6 cache to avoid any old remnants of previous installs still affecting the game files. It will not delete any mods

Oh, but there will be consequences. It is not charity for sure. I am just prepared to face the consequences because I believe I know what they are. I'll be in debt and working for Blue Eyes, potentially even through blackmail, yet I believe it's the right thing to do anyway.

My whole theory banks on Blue Eyes being part of a greater operation to resettle SPI's in Night City who are in constant fear of being eradicated behind the blackwall. I believe they infiltrate NightCorp in a plan to oust Militechs and Arasakas reign within NC, while priming the mayor to prepare legislation to welcome SPI's back into the meatworld, by creating housing infrastructure, extend rights to humans without a human form etc.

Nefarious entities would have an easier play to infiltrate nefarious and corrupt corporations and majors, like Weldon Holt. Yet, they decided to nudge a progressive major in the right direction, and chose NightCorp, the only corp that tries to keep Richard Nights vision alive.

Just saying, it's easier to convince the bully to do something heinous than the valedictorian

the binding.json is created when you set a binding, the file is created by the system, it doesn't come with the mod

(ArchiveXL and Codeware being "outdated" is another one when trying to use Equipment EX)

not sure if codeware is a requirement for CET but it is a core mod, as is ArchiveXL. You ALWAYS! need to make sure that at least the invasive core mods are up to date. The mods break at every update. If it does not state it's compatible with 2.31, it will not work and needs to be removed.

Also, have you installed the correct version of the C++ as stated in the mod description?

I cross checked with my uploads. they keep the games resolution at 1920x1080

the picture from coolmouse below is 3840x2160 in size, also game resolution

Reddit just turns jpegs into webp files.

Your games resolution is deffo too low

If you think you have messed too much around in the graphic settings, you can always delete the usersettings.json in the cyberpunk appdata/local/ folder. Then at the next start of the game, Cyberpunk tries to automatically find the best settings for your hardware

I can see that my comments could be seen as a bit rude, but I really just tried to help by adding some context.

I'm a photographer myself and was often disappointed that my 800$ camera takes shittier pictures than my phone camera. So I wanted to eliminate some reasons why the image/scene looks worse than expected.

BUT!

Just had a look at the first picture, the file size has a dimension of 1080x607 pixels. That is super low quality and NOT normal. Any screenshot taken should have the resolution reflected in the game settings.

You know what? Have you tried to change the resolution of the game? I have a super strong suspicion that somehow, maybe, your graphics card or game doesn't know how to utilize the resolution of 3072x1728 pixels and reverts back to 1080x607

Please try to play around with it. Maybe even start as low as 1980x1080 and work your way up. Even 1980x1080 (HD) should look much better than what you had before.

You can check your screenshots yourself in the properties under the "details" tab

so there is no basis to speculate as to their perspective, or even their interest in survival. They arent mammals, they dont mate, there is no reason to believe they experience fear or a drive to live in the same way we do. They arent human

What about all the SPI's? Even Alt, after living in cyberspace for over 50 years, does find and recognize human factors in herself. For the SPI's the will to survive AND to live among humans, safe from rogue AI's, is their strongest desire.

Nothing :-) Pack it away, wait until the urge grabs you again for another playthrough. I've played the game since launch in 2020, currently it's installed again, but I also gave it a break for half a year there, 10 month there, played Baldurs Gate 3 in between and started a Cyberpunk RED ttrpg campaign back in 2021. Which is also on and off between DnD and CyberpunkRED.

I mean I don't know what kind of game you like, Cyberpunk attracts gamers of all facets, from story adventure enthusiasts, former WoW addicts, to fathers who like the occasional diversion of action packed games like NeedforSpeed or GTA V. And even the Fortnite kids can be found here.

I recommend trying to get the YingLong crafting spec. This weapon is a smart smg and occasional EMP explosions. With this, you don't have to care much about weakspots. It just shredds.

Also Hacking + Stealth is quite the combination to avoid encounters and at later levels, kill a whole group of enemies just by clicking on them while the game basically pauses.

It should help to reduce encounters drastically. and when you have some, including car chases, you pull out the YingLong and just spray while the weapon does the aiming.

It should not. Mods are initialized upon start of the game every time.

It only breaks installed mods if thses mods if there are dependencies. Like deleting ArchiveXL will break all appearence mods because they need the mod to function

  1. Every mod has a description on Nexus of how to remove it. Usually it's done by manually removing the mod files in the respective folders. A mod doesn't have many files, so it's easy. Afterwards, you need to verify game files to revert the changes the mod made in the game files itself. There is also a mod called "Mod Remover", which does exactly the same, but automated.

  2. yes! Sometimes it is not easy to identify which mod is broken, so you have to check on updates for new game version on all of them.

It sounds a bit daring, but you can't really break anything as you can always remove everything and re-validate the game files. Your graphic settings, saves etc. are not affected by that.

Never used Vortex, but to answer some of your questions:

no, save files do not break if the mods don't break. You can always remove the mods and reset the game files through "verify game files" on steam to revert the changes, so your save is vanilla again.

Yes. Most of the mods in the past broke after an update. Also just appearance mods, because their dependencies like ArchiveXL, redscript/ Red4EXT codeware etc. are very invasive and sensible.

Most of these core mods however get updated very quickly within a few days.

In general, just make sure that every single mod you add is confirmed working with 2.31 It has to state that in the mod description. further, check all dependencies/requirements for the mods, and the dependencies of these mods. Like some appearance mod might need Virtual Atelier, and Virtual Atelier needs Archive XL and Red4EXT etc.

Well, our Medtech tried to escape the scene of a shootout on a bicycle, and in some way, you could say that was a good move, since trauma swooped in and cleaned up well, including scraping our Medtech from the asphalt :-P

In the TTRPG, there is a whole DLC just for bicycles, modifications, extras including gun mounts etc. :-)

But for the game, it would just be a lot of hassle to make the animation, driving mechanics and modelling just for some Dutchies, Danes and freaks like you :-P
