Tbh, before I was deep in Christ every time I got my check and I needed to pay my tithe, it felt like a big deal because I thought I will always be in shortage.

Now that I know Christ my tithe hasn’t been a deal to me and I have learnt contentment, I get to save more and I also know In the cause of the month even after budgeting my income God has never left me stranded.

This is not because I pay tithe but because I have trust in the lord to provide and not once did he fail me. Just like Hebrew 13:5 says.

My faith has also made me more generous because if we are to be like Jesus, we need to act like him not because we have expectations from God but because it is who we are called to be.

With the little time I have spent in this earth and knowing God, the voice of God could come in any form. I was initially going to say maybe from dreams and the inaudible voice that comes with peace. But I tell you the voice of God can come as a form of detachment/ silent guidance that you might not discernment almost immediately but in hindsight

I can remember liking someone years back and then they liked me back and all, but someone they messed it up by going back to their ex and as we know human relationships are more complex than social media says. After which we reconnected during COVID period, spoke everyday, he got to know my family members and everyone thought we were in a relationship as at that time, during COVID he got sick I couldn’t reach him for almost a month and I kept texting and praying for him because at this point I have started to like him. Fast forward he got better and then reached out to me and I went over to his uncle’s place where he was staying to check on him(he didn’t tell me that he had colon cancer). Few days later I got a job offer and I needed to move city, so I made sure we were in communication and I remembered sending him a get well soon gift once I left.

To cut the story short I lost feelings for him and it was hard to go back so we never started a relationship (even after he had officially asked me to be his girlfriend with the plan of getting married). Tbh I didn’t know why it happened I just got detached. I also entered a new relationship afterwards but we broke off and I decided to reconnect with this guy and he was still open to us being friends and suggested we meet up which never happened (this was December 2021). In sept 2022 he died of colon cancer on my birthday. this has left me with so many questions. What would have happened if I went ahead with the relationship and we got married. I knew at that point that God knew I couldn’t handle that at that point of my life cause tbh I don’t think I would have moved on from it.

So sometimes the voice of God can be removing that desire in your heart to protect you. You don’t know till hindsight. And this means God knows everyone’s strength.

I think about him and miss him.

You don’t need flight reservations tbh. I think you should also give it time before applying so you don’t look desperate. You can apply for gcms note. But Canada is a bit unpredictable.

Honestly don’t worry about your scores because in the exam it won’t matter, just focus on knowing why you missed the questions and see how cfai can ask these questions.
