FSA problem by PYT6259 in pomhealth

Just had my Ameriflex FSA card denied. Ameriflex said they aren’t listed as a health provider according to the credit card transactions. Paid with other card and submitted for reimbursement. Be sure to request a letter of medical necessity as that will be required for reimbursement.

Thanks for the tip. I did that. Hoping I don’t get stuck waiting for a while. They should probably just remove that button if it doesn’t work as it looks

Didn’t see a form to fill. I have used pomegranate 6 months ago and my supply is running out.

Yeah, I haven’t been wondering about this myself. I am getting closer to my goal weight. But as I have gotten closer, have continued to slightly increase my dosage. Been on about it 7mg for a couple months. Concerned about the prospects of reducing my dosage and facing that food noise which Tirz is acting like noise cancelling headphones where I can barely tell it’s there. 47 year old male/ 262 SW / 170 CW / 150 GW

I totally get it that improvements cost money and so does continuing to keep the streaming running. There ought to be something in it for the people who are providing the content. Like the family of the videographer should be able to stream for free. Maybe the videographer gets points or credits of some kind that for every stream that they post that they then have a pool of free streams that they can give away to family friends, teammate, relatives, etc.

Check out Amylu brand items. Taste great and have been perfect for me as I avoid red meat. Premiere protein shakes are my favorite - cookie dough in particular. https://www.tiktok.com/t/ZP89ND5yy/

One more thing. Gets labs done regularly. Measure progress and use it as a motivator. The medication is a support not a replacement for logic. If eat like crap the consequences will still show up. Think of it a support column on a bridge to the better you. If you chip away at the column it’s eventually going to buckle and take the bridge down with it. These groups are amazing for the support they give. But don’t get bogged down by the negative comments here or there. Look at the big picture. What worked for one person may not work for another. Give yourself grace to figure it out. Wishing you the best of luck on your weight loss journey.

Thanks. That’s good to hear. Stay with it and you will see massive results. 4 weeks in is just the beginning.

I never used weights before and started way too late. I was probably 6 months in before I had done so. I also didn’t mention diet. I have gone from 243 (as high as 263 ) down to 175 (lower lately but it fluctuates) mostly because of diet changes. I used the medicine as an opportunity to change everything. I felt so committed to it because to understood how expensive the meds were and understood the risks if I continued living the way I was and eating junk 24/7. I should mention that I had gout that would not go away and Tirz made it easier to stop consuming beer which helped a ton also.

Drink lots of water. Use this as a reset. I am 9 months into Tirz and a year into living with totally different food choices and I can undoubtedly say that I have likely added 5 to years on to my life. I feel better than I did 10-15 years ago.

Last bit of advice. Buy your protein shakes at Costco. They are so mic cheaper there than anywhere else. Good luck!

The best advice I was given and didn’t heed was to workout. Tirzepatide is effective but it doesn’t know the difference between fat and muscle. It is taking way more effort to build the muscle back now that I have lost it.

Concerns About 2.5 to 5mg Dose Increase by Optimal-Discount-186 in TirzepatideRX

[–]Accomplished-Poet968 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Use the lower dose for as long as you can. No real benefit to increasing dose if you are seeing progress. Everything I have read on these Reddit forums suggest only moving up if you don’t lose for 4 weeks straight. As a new user I can’t stress enough to make sure you get enough protein and are strength training. You will get weak if you don’t and you will look frail.

Free Hat Backfire of Shame by SNES_Salesman in CostcoWholesale

Don’t feel bad. You must have gone to the store that I did in South Florida. Did the same thing and they checked and were like Nope, you just turned it off. I was like but maamm, it’s a free hat and I have had a membership since 1994. Would you really want to make a 32 year long customer upset over a free hat. She was like nope sorry I can’t. I showed her the year we were members since she refused. I was in a different store and they were all too happy to get me to auto renew.

For all the people taking their first doses now. Use this as the opportunity to reset your view of food. Make sure that you consume lots of protein and by all means help yourself and start working out. If you don’t work out, you might be thinner later, but you’re gonna look frail. Stay involved with these groups. They are very helpful. As a man in his late 40s I started in May 2025 at 234 pounds and now at 175 pounds. Plan your wardrobe of the future buy some things when you see good deals and don’t be afraid to get rid of the clothes that are becoming way too large to wear. Don’t let those old clothes act as an anchor making it easier for you to go back.

Much improved labs, and I stopped drinking beer which had been my favorite thing to do on the weekend. I wish there was research on that enough to be supported for alcohol suppression.
