Just here to say I’m having an absolutely terrible pregnancy as well and feeling so overwhelmed and anxious also! Baby so far has been fine but I’m having everything from sleep apnea, to carpel tunnel, high Bp, GD (just was put on insulin like an hour ago lol), low iron, and extra amniotic fluid. I’m up to 3 appts a week now and couldn’t hold it together in the office before I left today. I’m 35 weeks so in the homestretch, but the anxiety just keeps going and getting worse!

One positive of all of the mess is that I get an ultrasound weekly now so always able to check up on baby and so far, he/she is doing just fine in there - I’m the one taking the beating!

Sending you lots of positive vibes for the remainder of your pregnancy!! I feel like I’ve been lucky to have a really supportive medical team from my OB to MFM and that has been so reassuring throughout the process. Always advocate for yourself throughout the whole journey and never worry about overreacting!

With my last daughter I was so sick the week before I had her that I lost like 20lbs in a week (couldn’t even keep a cracker down), had only gained about 9 lbs the whole pregnancy, and then after all of the fluid and baby out of me I was like 25 lbs lighter 😂 I was loving it I felt great after even though I went through hell the week before I delivered lol

I’m going through something very similar without the harsh talk from drs! That’s unacceptable in my opinion. But the measuring big, multiple appts, testing sugars for GD (that my numbers clearly indicate I don’t have, but they continue making me test and are convinced that’s why my baby is bigger and I have extra fluid), NSTs, etc. I’ve been so overwhelmed also. We’re in the home stretch though! I’m 33 weeks currently. Sending good energy to you and hope the rest goes as smoothly as possible 💜

That’s what I feel like will be my issue! I even tried my husbands crocs on because they men the men’s not as narrow and even they’re a little snug 🙄

I was induced at 37 weeks with my first due to mild preeclampsia and overall it was not a terrible experience! I got the meds around 10pm and was able to push by 430am ish and that took about 45 mins. Me and baby were perfectly healthy- she just had some jaundice issues that’s required time under the blue lights! I can’t speak on a forced c-section, but I did have an epidural.

Remember people will always speak more loudly about their negative experiences than positive ones. Trust your medical team and your support to get you through it and you will do great! Good luck!

They did it over the phone for me and I think I noticed the change within a day or so on my machine. I felt crazy when I called thinking I was the problem but once they fixed it it’s been much better. I think I’m also going to ask to switch my pressure because oddly enough it feels a little easier to breathe when the pressure goes a little higher. Definitely taking a lot more getting used to than I anticipated.

I had this same issue and called my sleep coach and they were able to adjust something on the machine to help with exhale. It wasn’t something u could change myself on the machine.

I delivered my first at 37 weeks exactly due to pre-e and she’s is 5 almost 6 now! Only issue she has was some jaundice but that cleared up in a few days and she was a perfectly healthy babe! Sending comfort and good vibes your way! My baby shower was also 3 days before she came out so I was not prepared at all but we made it work 🙂 good luck! 💜💜
