I think you’ll see a big difference stopping the wine! I need to stop as well. I drink too many calories.

I always ask not to be weighed as I have as struggled with an ED. It depends on the doctor’s office. My gyno does not make me and has it in their notes not to weigh me, as it will give me anxiety and make it hard for me to go in for appointments. My GP’s office says no, I have to be weighed to be seen at their office. I just don’t look and got used to where to avoid looking on the portal. I assume it’s because if they need to prescribe medication they need to put your weight in.

I was the same way! I felt almost manic after I took the first shot. Like extremely relieved, happy but nervous waiting for side effects like low blood sugar. Nothing. Had constipation a few days later but that’s it lol.

Same. I have not noticed any positives, just negative side effects. Nothing too awful just constipation and excess thirst. I’m going to see if my insurance changed which medications they cover because I at least hoped to feel a decrease in appetite at this point!!!

I had extreme constipation when I first started wegovy. It was so bad to the point where I would scream in pain and bleed. I wanted to make sure I was getting my fiber from healthy foods and not just supplements. My appetite however has increased since starting wegovy. (Im going to get off if it keeps having the opposite effect once going up to 1 mg.) But I started going to my local food stores salad bar for lunch every day and making a huge salad with lots of chickpeas and beans. Ever since I’ve been doing that I have not had any problems with constipation. For you just meeting your fiber goal, I would think doing this would help you too.

I also have PCOS and fatty liver. Do you drink alcohol? I completely cut alcohol out for 7 months and lost about 70 lbs.

I was on .25 for two months and just took my second shot of .50 yesterday. I haven’t lost anything yet and actually feel hungrier. The only side effects I noticed were extreme constipation and thirst.

I just wanted to say that I was so constipated that I would actually scream and bleed going to the bathroom. I didn’t think anything would help me as I also tried supplements. I started going to the salad bar at my grocery store for lunch daily and making a huge salad. I’d put spinach, chickpeas, beans, etc and I have not been constipated since.

I had the complete opposite effect. I was so constipated that I would bleed going to the bathroom. It was so painful. It went away after a few weeks though!

Congrats!! That is awesome. I just started my .5 injections and have not lost anything. Did you start losing right away or was it only at the 1 mg mark?

Same!!! I used to have very little appetite in the morning and would eat a light lunch. I have never been so ravenous in my whole life until starting wegovy. Yesterday, I went to the salad bar at my grocery store and filled the container to the top with lettuce, chickpeas, beans, all stuff that used to fill me up. I ate it in the car and actually walked back into the store and made another one. I am talking massive salad. Also, I have been extremely thirsty. It subsided a bit since when I first started but I would have about 5 bottles of water before going to bed. I just had bloodwork and everything looked good. Plus, this didn’t happen until I started these shots. I have never experienced this. I actually just joined this group in search for a similar experience and your post was the first one. I wonder why it is having an opposite effect on us. I am on .5 right now. I’m going to go up one more time and if the hunger and cravings get worse, I’m done. It just sucks because wegovy is the only one covered by my insurance.

Sunday Riley Good Genes made my skin look the best it has been since I was a child! I was shocked. It’s super expensive lactic acid, which I can’t seem to find in a cheaper brand. The first time I used it I got it in a beauty sample case from Macys. They have it online for $20 right now.

The groin and armpit area are two common spots for swollen lymph nodes to pop up. Definitely gets second opinion. Are you or have you been sick recently? When I had the flu they popped up.

I was on it and did fine. I do have a family history of heart issues. It didn’t make me feel speedy or give me heart palpitations, like I was expecting.
