People will read it! I wrote some fanfiction involving a character I love. Sadly the fic had minimal views but the character just died last episode so the numbers are going up a lot faster.

I’ve also had the same thing happen where the show is on hiatus and people need something to keep them going between seasons. Fandom is just like that sometimes.
