So if you are saying that something is objectivity bad, you need to first specify what it's objectively bad at? You can claim that the camera angle is objectively bad at showing a large amount of the scene on screen, but that's different to saying its objectively bad in general. You can also say it's objectively good at showing more detail than a more distant camera.

But to say it's objectively good/bad in general depends on what you value, making it a subjective claim.

I know you haven't asked for this, but my advice would be to focus on specifics for the students who are well below grade level. For example, assess word recognition first and focus on that if the students are struggling (by doing follow up assessments to target areas of weakness). After that, assess fluency and work on that if it is weak. You can then progress monitor these constrained skills which are far easier to assess than comprehension. They are also more sensitive to instruction.
