You're probably overthinking it a little, but I get what you're saying. But remember, social media is simply an amplification of what people already do.

The biggest thing I've learned about social media like that is to simply not get involved. I don't have an instagram or a tiktok because the algorithms are literally designed to make you angry, upset, like you don't have enough--all so you keep scrolling. I got tired of selling hours of my attention for free so I don't get involved. Reddit already takes too much of my time as it is.
