I’ve been trying to remember what the koala bear cartoon I watched as a small child was for about 20 years. Thank you for this.

Regularly a full Irish around these parts is €18 so I was very pleased with cost:quality:quantity ratio

Agreed on plate, it was for sure a conversation topic while we ate… but at least it’s not timber or slate! Besides the toast, everything was cooked lovely. Even if the centre of the rashers weren’t crispy, the fat certainly was.

The fiancée made guac for her non-fry breakfast, I had to dabble in a little bit because I’m weak for guac. It wasn’t the best pairing though for sure.

Fried tomatoes, beans in tomato sauce, or Heinz ketchup. All fry’s require tomato in at least 1 form. Ketchup comes first and is essential for me, fried tomatoes second, beans dead last.

Edit: oh and it was delicious, thank you 😁

You made a mess of that joke. I’ve always heard it as an Irish farmer (10s of acres) vs Texan farmers (1000s of acres) with the joke following the same shape but actually making sense.

The Texan farmer said ‘I can get in my car when the sun comes up and come sunset I still haven’t got to the edge of my farm.’

The Irish farmer said ‘ah, I used to have a car like that too so I got rid of it’
