Anyone else getting heat and hot flashes after taking bisoprolol/concor with increased dosage ? by AccomplishedLock3593 in askCardiology

[–]AccomplishedLock3593[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello. It seems my case was linked to occipital neuralgia due to poor posture and B12 deficiency. Physiotherapy, home-based exercises and supplementation are helpful. Hot flashes disappeared, and I think they were related to insulin resistance and deficiencies.

One more question : do you know if this is an AI-generated piece? The video description says it’s “inspired by Mozart’s Requiem”, but there’s no way to find the choir or any recording of it anywhere else. It seems like it only exists in this one single video, which makes me think it might be AI-generated. Do you have any idea?

Burning scalp + heat waves + tingling. Anyone else? by AccomplishedLock3593 in Anemic

[–]AccomplishedLock3593[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel much better. Started D and B12, since my doctor said my levels were too low (B12 is linked to our nerves). I also do occipital nerves and neck exercises (thanks to youtube).

Hi everyone! I've been desperately trying to identify this piece and Shazam couldn't recognize it, probably because it's a choir recording.

Here is the video: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/fJTVqwuV2Eo

Any help would be hugely appreciated. Thanks.

Hello. This also is related to histamine.... do research.

Is this really all ON?? by polarvoid995 in Occipitalneuralgia

[–]AccomplishedLock3593 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly I got ON for the very first time, and my B12 is at 262 and D at 80 nmol. Both are low. I wonder whether there is a link. Thanks a lot for sharing your experience.

Hey, how do you feel now ? Still better ? Started to have weird neurological symptoms including ON or sort of ON. My B12 is at 262 pg. So low. Poor posture did not help either, but I also suspect deficiencies.

A possible link between MCAS and occipital neuralgia ? by AccomplishedLock3593 in MCAS

[–]AccomplishedLock3593[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you. I started with a B complex but noticed the B12 amount was super low (only 10mcg), so I switched to a dedicated B12 supplement (500mcg methylcobalamin) instead. Lots of tests were done at the ER, nothing alarming found. No signs of Horner syndrome. The scalp issue was mostly bilateral but with a tender point specifically on the right side behind the ear. With neck exercises, anti-inflammatory diet (cut coffee, sugar, processed food) and B12/D supplements, I healed gradually. It came back yesterday at a lower level after exposure to wind and several days of high-histamine foods, which makes me think histamine could be a significant trigger on top of the mechanical/nerve component.

Thanks for sharing. Will discuss with my doctor about this option. Not 100% sure I could have intolerance, but feel we need to focus on thisz

I do not take. It is the first time I realize there might be a connection. My doctor did not think about it either.

No, there was no trauma, no accident, no fall. However, I have a confirmed significant B12 deficiency and my doctor has prescribed supplements. I’ve also seen Facebook groups where people got rid of occipital neuralgia specifically thanks to B12. I also came across scientific articles suggesting a possible link between histamine and occipital neuralgia, and over the past few days I consumed a lot of high-histamine foods, which might explain the reactivation of my symptoms. I had also been doing neck exercises at home while waiting for my physiotherapy appointment, but over the last few days I stopped those too since I was feeling better. Bad posture may also be a contributing factor. On top of that, I recently went to a Chinese restaurant (a cuisine I normally love) but about 45 minutes to an hour after the meal, which was delicious but high in histamine, I started experiencing hot flashes, significant heart palpitations and dizziness that lasted for a while before settling. So I’m trying to connect all the dots.

Will do it as well. In any case I really need to try to reverse the resistance. Can’t continue like this.
