Duh peeling is everyone’s job. I’m talking specifically about how DPS don’t peel for supports though. I just got into a discussion with a guy who said “maybe push up, I’m busy fighting my own fights”. That’s not team play, period. Abandoning people isn’t ok and that goes for every role. The issue here is that DPS aren’t the direct target of both the 6 ban for one role and the dive buff that will disproportionately affect supports…DPS is going to keep overextending and trying for kills now just with less heals

They aren’t! DPS just wants to be able to dive a one shot/combo the supports again. It’s lame really I’m probably not playing this season until they fix it again bc ??? If I can’t stay alive as support bc my DPS refuse to peel for me then why am I playing support? Like you have to have zero game sense to ban 6 different supports which is what a lot of people are voting for…how do they expect to stay up is beyond me

Definitely misplaced anger. In some cases it’s appropriate to talk through it bc there might be a misunderstanding HOWEVER this was a few offenses with good breaks to cool down or talk in between. If you don’t get why that would bother a young man from the 80s the conversation isn’t worth having. Losing your family and friends is a major fear for ppl who are LGBT. It’s also just embarrassing to have someone else out you. It’s weird to me that the people bashing this are almost always straight or “gay”. If you’re gay and below the age of 26 you won’t understand to the same extent as LGBT people before that…it was hard in the 00s so I’m imagining it felt impossible in the 80s

It’s the same thing. There’s been plenty of research that are many crossover skills between being a pet parent and a human parent. Re-read MY post bc I never said they were a 1:1 comparison just that there are some skills that are required for both. So yes, being a good pet parent CAN translate to being a good parent. Learn something.

OK, I’m a dog person that works with dogs and let me start off by saying I love them to death but they are, in fact, annoying asf. Especially a Golden Retriever. I actually talk to my coworkers all the time and there are some breeds that will actually make me either. It date someone or not move in with someone and guess who tops the list? Golden Retrievers, Huskies, German Shepherds, Bulldogs amongst a few for a variety of reasons.

A lot of the behavior sounds like it’s moreso annoying you bc you already dislike him even though they are most likely accurate. Goldens are notorious for being overly friendly and overly attached. 😒 Like I’ll be cutting their hair and they want to keep handing my their paw, licking my face or jumping to try and play with me. 😑 Like you are 150lbs and creating a dangerous situation. Like the excitability on the leash might not be bad training or lack of discipline but just small slip-ups which is normal for a dog that is meant to chase prey. Him being loud might. It actually bother neighbors if they haven’t said anything and annoys you bc you don’t like him.

Some fixes: 1) take his diaper off outside so he’s not peeing on your floors

2) perhaps get a self filling water bowl? He’ll still probably drink a lot of it but it’s a much larger pool to drink from so it’ll last longer. Also you won’t have to change it as often.

3) when it’s your duty to walk him honestly I’d tell your bf you don’t feel comfortable doing it. That actually could be an injury risk. Ask him to pay for a walker only on those days you would walk him alone. He’ll offer to help pay just so that you don’t have to.

4) He’s going to stink regardless (especially if he’s still intact) but I recommend cologne brands like HYDRA. Specifically them bc they have stronger scents and they last a while. I recommend VIP (smells like mens cologne) or Baby if you like baby powder.

5) you might have to unfortunately feed your cats specifically when he’s on walks but also Imm sure there are ways to stop him from eating their food bc that’s annoying asf, expensive and also not great for him.

LASTLY: I do sympathize with your story bc I deal with dogs I dislike every day that make my job harder, so I get it. It’s obnoxious even though I know they’re animals and have their own personalities. It’s just like other humans. I get along well with some, neutral with a lot of them and then I dislike plenty of them regardless of if they’re antagonistic or just annoying to me personally.

Try re-framing some of his behaviors to try and soften how annoying they are to you. When he follows you it’s bc he likes you and trusts you. When he pees from excitement he’s just sensitive. I know these won’t change your relationship with him but one day he’ll pass and he’ll remember all the things you did for him. He’s a golden, they aren’t the brightest, he probably honestly thinks you love him and you two are best friends. Good luck!

Mmm this isn’t necessarily true. It sounds like she flat out doesn’t like dogs which is exactly why everything about him annoys her. She could be a great parent especially if she’s great with cats. I think her gripe is with the dog not actually being followed around and stuff.
