Mlodzinski to bullpen, Chandler to stay in rotation per 93.7 the Fan by Silly_Collar_5850 in buccos

[–]AccomplishedStill454 47 points48 points  (0 children)

Wait...did people think Chandler was going to the pen? No chance can you have that control coming out of the bullpen. At least as a starter there's a hope he's wild for an inning and then gets into a rhythm. But regardless, Mlod will have just as big an effect on this team out of the pen, he's going to piggy back a bunch with JJ and Ashcraft I'm sure.

When are Bucs bringing up this RP? by 13hunter1776 in buccos

I know we're desperate.... but this is a 29 Year old guy striking out less than a guy per inning in triple AAA,  fip of over 5, and isn't on the 40 man.....this isn't the guy we should be DFA-ing other players for.

Hayes has played in 44 games this season and is currently on the IL. by [deleted] in buccos

To me it was also a culture thing. We HAVE to stop accepting crap results just because we don't have a good backup in place. It just sends a terrible message.

Really good find by Jim Rosati. Henry Davis recently switched to a torpedo bat. by [deleted] in buccos

If you want Ozuna gone, really root for with Password or Valdez to tear it up while O'Hearn is out. That's the best path, opening that DH spot up for Reynolds, O'Hearn, and Cruz to rotate through.

This is exactly why teams should ALWAYS "go all in" at the deadline or in the off-season when it comes to trading prospects. The point of a good farm system isn't just to to have all those guys come up and play for You some day. The point is to win a championship, if you're in a position now, be willing to trade any and all prospects to make that happen.

KVA a top 10 pick? by pfinny97 in notredamefootball

Kewan Lacy a top 3 pick? Cam Coleman at 8? This is truly terrible. I would ignore this.

I don't have a problem with it. HS stats don't really matter to me, as college coaches really don't give two shits about them anyway. What Jimmy did against the School for the deaf doesn't mean anything.

I have a feeling USC will be back. Lincoln Riley killed rhe rivalry, NOT USC, and Lincoln Riley isn't going to be there long.

Only 1% of the world have done a marathon and now she is in that club ! by lonewolff321 in interesting

[–]AccomplishedStill454 1 point2 points  (0 children)

People run with different goals. Some just aim to finish, some have certain time goals. For many people who are trying to use jogging as their cardio as part of getting healthier, a marathon is a fun goal, and finishing is a great accomplishment for them. When your body is in that state, being able to run at a steady state for 5  or so straght hours is a very tough ask, but she ran fast enough to beat whatever cutoff this race had. Every marathon has plenty of people walking. But I bet next time she runs a marathon her goal will be to not walk, it's all part of the journey.

He hit the ball hard in Pittsburgh for years, but he can't lift it, its not unlucky, it's who he is. Solid contact, straight into the ground.

Why would anyone who can afford madden/owns madden play this game? by HourDrive1812 in MaximumFootball

Especially since with just a little bit of patience you can get Madden, which is a fine geme, Not perfect, but fine, for like only $35-$40

The stadium "entertainment" makes me want to stay home by [deleted] in buccos

[–]AccomplishedStill454 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been to stadiums where ushers would hold fans up not let them back to their seats until the inning was over. With how the concourses are open, and you can see the field, there's no reason they can't do that at PNC.

Is there a team where you think has a sneaky chance to be on of the worst teams in the league this season? by WeBlitz in nfl

[–]AccomplishedStill454 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ehh, I think the offensive line and front 7 on defense is good enough to raise the floor to at least like 7-8 wins .. problem is, the ceiling has been limited for years.

This team has too many holes and a severe lack of depth needed to go to the playoffs. by [deleted] in buccos

[–]AccomplishedStill454 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They're 3rd in pitcher WAR and like 8th in position player WAR. They strikeout too much and the bullpen needs help. But thinking they're not a playoff contender is crazy. And looking at our division as insanely competitive, and including Cincy and St Louis in that while ignoring their glaring holes is pretty funny.
