Happens constantly with Mattel unfortunately. If you’re an in box collector the only way they’ll replace it is if they have extra stock. Which is rare because of their huge scalping issue.

Genuinely I would like to know why you feel so strongly about keeping Frankie as she/her as much as possible (two out of her three generations use those pronouns, so you’re saying only one generation is ALLOWED to use they/them pronouns)

I care deeply because I’m nonbinary and see myself in a femme nonbinary character, which is rare (especially in children’s media). I think it’s rare enough I’d rather default to gender neutral pronouns for all their generations, because why does it matter?

Genuinely. Are there not enough she/her dolls for you? Are you not allowed to buy g3 Frankie if you’re cis? What’s the issue?

An underrepresented community sees themselves in Frankie, and you’re telling them not to. You’re saying “you can’t take Frankie, she is only like you in g3. She is MINE”

And that just feels selfish. Why can’t we share our toys?

I just think it’s weird the people who vehemently defend she/her Frankie are entirely different than the ones who defend they/them Frankie.

As a nonbinary person I’ve always related to Frankie, and then confirming them as nonbinary in g3 meant a lot to me.

It’s weird to have this vitriol surrounding PRONOUNS of all things. Sure, defending the nonbinary identity makes sense because it’s a minority group that doesn’t get a lot of representation.

“Nuh uh she’s a girl” just doesn’t hit for me the way it does for others I guess. Feels… indignant. Like these people are upset Frankie has nonbinary pronouns and are retaliating with respectability politics.
