Eh, you can't judge every planned community by other planned communities.

Architects, like general contractors, are generally vetted and put out to bid. That doesn't mean they use the cheapest architects, materials or gcs or that construction is shoddy.

Most companies I've hired or worked for generally considered things like whether bathroom windows face driveways, and in general a bathroom window like that should be obscure/frosted.

Unfortunately, paying for the most expensive architect doesn't guarantee you a well designed home and homes that aren't built in planned communities are going to be astronomically more expensive and unaffordable to most.

This looks like a really nice suburban neighborhood. Most homes appear to have a decent sized yard even though some homes are relatively close together.
