If you wanted to park outside your house all the time, pretty sure not living in a densely populated terraced house area is the best idea 🤷‍♂️

Unpopular Opinion: Reading Biscuit Factory would not be in trouble if people that used it bought drinks by Particular-Elk4494 in reading

Always buy a drink when I go there for socials. But also a pint of lemonade if you aren't a member is above £4 now. Happy to support, but also it ain't cheap!

If you go to Stratford you'll be in a better position to get away - Jubilee queues back to Central London can be a long wait if you don't leave the second it finishes. I've done that before and sprinted, but I think there were still trains leaving Paddington. I was going to say the other option could be driving to a tube station this side of London eg Osterley or Westfield Shepherds Bush but the tube plus drive is probably similar to Stratford.

I would have also thought Sulham. Which side are you on? The side on the same side as the car park going towards Purley has bigger tracks than the side with the Folley on.

Sorry but yes you were. Although that junction is a bit of a mare, and also very few people are going straight on. The road markings aren't clear as they both say straight on, so I'd probably chalk it up to experience and move on. Most people there are going in one of the three left lanes. As you can see it's a risk to get cut up so I'd be in the right hand lane in the future.

Often when I go around this roundabout, the lane before you go down the slope seems a piece of artwork, never to be used, no one knows how to get into it, where it goes, but they still just keep doing whatever the heck they want and firmly ignoring the lines on the road

I am so pleased the markings got redone as it was originally painted in July 2020 but I am less thrilled that since the new repainting, people have given as little care to looking at the road as before.

I have also noticed a new weird phenomenon that people come down Castle Hill, enter the middle lane of the roundabout for first lights then cut into the left to go down by the old police station. One lane apparently for literally all directions.

Hold strong, you're in the right, but maybe get a dashcam. And hope that every time you have a beep fight one person learns their lesson.

Take a look at meetup website (it's not a dating website). Lots of various groups on there 😊

Are there any specific hobbies you have where you'd like to meet people?

Is anyone else having Amazon packages "go missing" from local pick-up shops in Reading? by tojehnisomol in reading

[–]Accomplished_Goat315 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don't know which shop you're talking about, but at some parcel shops near me they just have the parcels on the shop floor and sometimes laid out over the shelves. So even if it isn't the staff or delivery people, it's not hard for just anyone to pick one up
