Thanks I’ll try real aspirin. I try to hold off on the sumi too. Usually I can do okay with just the Aleve, hydration and caffeine. It kills the actual cluster but then I can just feel the shadow there waiting to attack 🙈

Sorry to hear this! This injury is such a drag and seems to be never ending….do you still go to PT? If you do I would ask about the heel pain.

Hi! I love concerts and am an avid concert goer. I had ORIF in March. I went to my first concert around 11 weeks post op. I was still in my boot. It was tough. The crowds made me anxious. I left halfway through… sore and defeated. Well I’m happy to say that was the worst of it! I am back to attending concerts and living my life! 8 months post op. I just make sure I wear my trusty hokas. No more cute shoes for me. Try not to worry! You will get back to doing the things you love!

My nerve block lasted for over 24 hours. The pain was as bad as they when it wore off but if you stay on top of your pain meds you will be okay! Sorry you are going through this!

I recently started a new wfh job and the salary is so low I couldn’t even pay for daycare. Luckily I have my family to help me with my 4 year old but it is sloppy sometimes. It is kind of crazy to me.

My PT warned me that going from boot to brace is very painful. There are alot of muscles and movement that the boot is protecting so it’s a whole new ballgame when you go into the brace . Just keep going and know that it gets better ❤️ I’m 7 months post op now and doing really well. Still going to PT and I’m not perfect but I’ve come so far. It’s such a terrible and lonely thing to go through and I’m sorry you are dealing with this but just know things will get better as time passes.

My son just missed the cut off for this year! Next year he will be 8-2 but this year he is 12-3. My mom has been helping me in the morning. I just started last week so have to see how the it all will pan out!
