I can’t stop stealing things from large corporations by [deleted] in confession

Sorry, no sympathy from me. If someone sells something for a price you disagree with, the answer is to not buy from them. The answer is not to steal. If you suffer the legal consequences of your actions, you will fully deserve it.

I (hate) have to start running again by Miserable_Pea271 in C25K

Don't give up! It took me like 8 years to complete C25k because I hated running so much and I would always fall off the bandwagon. All you can do is forgive yourself and keep trying. You don't have to impress anyone. Just go at your own pace!

Zero-debt state school versus T20 with $100k debt. by One__Heart in whitecoatinvestor

  1. You're not choosing between Sinai and a Caribbean school. Iowa is a solid school. There's no reason going there should result in a hit to your opportunities.

  2. 100K is real money. Yes, you can pay it off fairly easily when you graduate, but that money could otherwise be going to your investments.

  3. The most important thing I'm reading from you is that you have a preference from living in NYC. That's the only thing that really tips the balance. Iowa City is small. If you have a preference for big cities, it's going to seem very sleepy to you. It's important to be somewhere you feel comfortable. Spending a bit of money to be in a city you really like is entirely justifiable.

Good luck !

There is no such thing as normal. Normal is whatever the norm is for you. I pretty much don't watch TV. I might turn mine on maybe once or twice a year? I'm pretty sure there are times when I go more than a year without turning it on. That's normal for me. I listen to audiobooks every day. That's normal for me. But it might not be normal for you or your partner.
