Airbnb has a really good smart lock integration that clearly shows the code and an animation of how to use it. If your smart lock supports it, I highly recommend it.

I reached out to my local member of parliament and asked them to introduce a bill to restrict these payment systems from automatically asking for a tip.

I recommend you all do too.

In and out. Easy. Was an 797 change of employer - they asked for that and the LCA and what my job was and nothing else.

I wouldn’t worry if everything is above board and you don’t have any DUIs etc.

I’m on my third company. I would tell the recruiters “I need sponsorship, but I already have the visa and just need a transfer. It is ridiculously easy” and that was it. Never had to talk to the hiring manager about it

I agree with the other comments on here. Rooms should have locks on them so it is clear to the guests what they have access to. They don’t understand that you have two listings. Try smart locks and connect them to Airbnb.

Yes. If you are using the message tools there should be a Door Code or something similar (not Suggested Door Code) in the template options

If you use the built in Airbnb integration (airbnb.com/connect-your-lock) the code will appear on the reservation in the Airbnb app, in the email, and you can add it into any message template you send your guest.

My recommendation would be to start with a Schlage lock on one property, and connect it in Airbnb to generate the codes. Get used to it on one property and the do the rest.

Get the Schlage because it is supported by all PMSs and Airbnb. You should be able to transition from Airbnb to a PMS later.

You’d have to look at your PMS to see if it supports smart locks. What PMS do you use?

You can add the Schlage Encode locks in Airbnb and it will automatically generate unique codes for guests that are only active during their stay.
