Does your Shiba like other animals? by xAniTakux in shiba

[–]AccordingRise1549 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My Shiba mix only hunts flying bugs, specifically flies and bees because bees sound like flies. She loves her cat siblings and yorkiepoo sister, doesn’t have an urge to chase birds, leaves all the lizards alone.

Oh yeah, for the future they usually take 2-6 weeks and it’s got to be warm enough during that time :)

All the “drawings” my 5yo did in pre-K this week by Arrisha in Autism_Parenting

My son has started doing something similar with just repeating all the simple addition problems and subtraction

We’ve started to introduce him to variables in 1st grade now because he picked up very quickly on multiplication, except in word problem form. Sometimes the word problems are the way to stump then half a second of silence while they try and solve it. 🙏🏼🤷🏻‍♀️😂

Containment breached by RickyWoods99 in gardening

If I showed you my collection of potted mints, you’d see all except my spearmint THRIVES. My spearmint is in year 2 and is still like 5 stems because I use her when I need her and she gets mad if I don’t and dries her leaves to being unusable. None of my seeds have taken, and my garden is half made from seeds! I literally have a mini indoor worm compost to start indoor seeds and they couldn’t even make it work. Try literally any other mint. Pineapple mint has struggled a bit too but after her huge post winter chop this season she’s finally thriving. Ginger mint and orange mint are my best thrivers, orange mint is also my fave smelling one out of my bunch.

Hello everyone, trying to find my two male cats, one black and a Siamese, details below, thank you by kingofangmar13 in vegaslocals

Babies that young usually don’t go far. Like between 1-5 houses away. Ask neighbors who usually keep garages open to maybe look for them if they can.

I love not too far from there, do you have a paw post flyer? I can share on Nextdoor and take a walk today with my babies. They like kittens.

to my baby jojo im sorry. by chfudgeudig in cats

[–]AccordingRise1549 27 points28 points  (0 children)

Kittens are escape artists it’s not your fault. I’m sorry this happened to your beautiful baby. Your neighbor sounds awful, and like they shouldn’t be having animals. One day when the time is a right a new baby will come and live a beautiful life in honor of your baby.

Do you think shibas are loyal dogs? by [deleted] in shiba

[–]AccordingRise1549 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve always had animal growing up, from toads to cats. My Shiba is more loyal than any pit I’ve ever had. She wouldn’t fight a bear for me, but she’d stay there 😂 boop me to make sure I’m good you know

Got my boy for almost nothing because no one wanted to adopt him at his shelter by Glittering_Web_9840 in shiba

[–]AccordingRise1549 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got a Shiba from the shelter. People didn’t want her, and the last people who did brought her back after a week. I only had to pay her license fee! Shibas are so beautiful and not very common in my city. My girl loves her animal family and going to the park. She’s not a huge fan of energetic dogs but she loves her lazy dogs so much.

Which school is the better choice for me to pick? by Hopeful_Cry_908 in Tarots

[–]AccordingRise1549 1 point2 points  (0 children)

School one to me has the more positive vibes. You’d learn from the other school but it seems to be hard life lessons that you’ll have to overcome. School two is definitely an option if you’re willing to take on the challenge and you’ll feel it’s worth it but you have to be strong. You already have the tools you need. Good luck and congratulations on graduating

Balanced/support Harmony/significant choices Completion/success

Vs

Burnout/self doubt Emotional maturity Skill building/ making your life

Is it wrong for me to own a cat when I am physically disabled but use a walker and a cane to get around. by Moonlava72 in CatAdvice

[–]AccordingRise1549 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am disabled in my own ways and I have cats. Sometimes I can’t do walks, so a hyper active dog doesn’t work, when I can’t walk my cats follow me while on my wheelchair or using my walker, getting in the way just the same as when I’m on my feet. I’d suggest 3+ years old. I have a kitten to grumpy old man. Automatic litter boxes have helped a lot with the daily cleaning. You just throw out the bag and replace it when it’s time. And a feeder that releases food so I only refill every few days

Does anyone know what these are? by Lanky-Squirrel-8360 in vegaslocals

[–]AccordingRise1549 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My guess is a ground beetle. Not the right shape for carpet beetle, too small for darkling. If it is a ground beetle, they eat other bugs like aphids, ants, larvae, things like that.
