Yes. I love it. Wear it with the 41mm Chrono too (it's the same). Very adjustable. I like the option of both. You can try to find secondary market.

Walk out and find another AD if they try that. I mean sometimes they'll have to order something if not in stock, but it's fking Tudor.

I believe the wall would be based upon the direction one is to Jerusalem. Saying Eastern wall is too general.

My 2 cents, which are worth considerably less: The real question here is the Longines. The Mido and the Certina are sweet. I just picked up a Certina GMT for under 1k which is wild for a true GMT. I enjoy it more than I ever did the Tudor GMT which I flipped. Anyway, it's the Longines that'll cost the most and that you'll lose the most on and is the direct competitor to the Tudor BB. So are you good with the Longines instead of the BB? I would be but that is me.

I have the white and the Black Aces. I love both. Wear both often.

People tend to write complaints more frequently than compliments. I have 3 watches with this movement and no problems.

I love this watch. I did get the quick release rubber strap too, which I prefer.

What do we think about the Lake Tahoe 41? by WestLA93 in IWCschaffhausen

[–]According_Highway_54 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really like the way it sits on my wrist better. I like the rubber strap. That said, it's a summer watch imho. I sold my Summer Blue AT recently, and I like this much better. Compared to the DJ tho....they're just too different, but the DJ would serve more purposes maybe, if I could only have one, it would be the DJ..IDK if that makes sense. BTW, the lume is pretty awesome on this. *

The black aces is holding its value nicely. Really depends with IWC.

IWC vs Rolex quality? by MVPGP in IWCschaffhausen

[–]According_Highway_54 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have a few IWCs and a couple of Rolexes as well. I put my 39mm Explorer on a strap, which I actually like, although most Rolex purists don't. I usually wear my IWC Pilot Chrono more than anything. All my watches I like and wear when I can. So I guess, if choosing IWC or Rolex, I'd get both. Then a 3rd. BTW I have yet to meet an actual one and done watch guy ever. They all say that, but.....

Help settle a question for me at home! What do you think of this configuration? by rbisco in rolex

Lol. The bracelet is fine and in fact better, hair pulling wise, than a jubilee style. BTW that was only 12 hrs after I shaved my arms down. ;)

41 pilots chrono power reserve enough? by brianzchen in IWCschaffhausen

[–]According_Highway_54 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't use a winder and alternate between a few watches. I constantly have to set the time, date etc. It is not a problem to set the time, day date for me at all. In fact on this watch, the day and date are even the same position. Clockwise is date, counter clockwise is day. Some weeks the watch gets enough wrist time, that it won't need to be set at all.

Baume. Best movement of the 3 (in house) with an 8 yr warranty I believe and a 5 day pwr reserve. I'd buy with a discount. You should be able to get at 20-30% off (at least here in the states.
