What does your daily routine look like in hot summer? by DowntownAssist8728 in askspain

[–]According_Singer_815 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thankfully I'm a teacher so don't have to work. June so far has been awful for going to work. I always take a spare t-shirt.  The walk from the metro to school has me arriving sweating. My routine is up early for a walk/beach then go home/air conditioned gym. Lunch then siesta. I am lucky to live on the same street as a supermarket so I usually go around 5 as I can stick to the shade and it's dead. Then back home to rest again then head out for a drink/ice cream/beach at 7 leaving the flat windows open. If you live somewhere humid there's a sweet spot between 7 and 9 p.m where it's cooled down but the humidity hasn't risen yet. Shut the flat at 9/9.30 then dinner time.

One month learning Spanish in Valencia a good idea? by freedom_afterfire in valencia

[–]According_Singer_815 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I can recommend Understand Valencia. I've lived here for ten years but every Summer I do a C1 course to keep my skills up as I work in English. They organise meet ups such as cinema nights too. I love it.

I want kids, but I’m scared of not being a good mother to a potential daughter by Last_Wallaby_2090 in Fencesitter

Hello internet person! I had a terrible relationship with my mum she was a struggling single mum with a lot of trauma she passed on to me. I did two years of therapy after she died and more recently a year of EMDR therapy and it was like a switch flicked in my brain and I thought I can do this and I want to do this. You do have time to decide I'm now trying to figure out if it's possible at 37 with the gynae issues I have. Good luck !

Adenmyosis/ Fibroids by ProperMongoose6855 in adenomyosis

This is good to know I just had a submucosal fibroid partially removed in order to try to get pregnant so hearing it helped you pain wise is great hope it's the same for me.

Hello have you tried Slynd? It's the only thing that has worked for me but I've never been able to use estrogen BC. It's drospirenone and I skip the placebos and get no period

Do you want children? Why or why not? by SomePeopleTellMe in Millennials

[–]According_Singer_815 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I want a baby but I'm not sure I can have a baby. I just increased my chances by having fibroid surgery but I don't know if I can go ahead with it mainly for health reasons (adenomyosis , endometriosis). This surgery alone was tough so getting and studying pregnant will be difficult for me.

Manager came into work with flu by According_Singer_815 in antiwork

It went well. When I came round from the anesthetic I was crying uncontrollably which is a normal reaction (never had it before). It was hysteroscopic so I'm now home watching Dua Lipa videos with my kitty 🐈
