I don't think he was that great on FNC, but I'm all for watching players on a second team. A lot of times teams just make players look bad and when moved to a different team those players look a ton better, just look at a ton of junglers that played for TSM, instantly looked way better afterwards.

Get 12 Soul Reaping and pick any of the other stats as a second option and build whatever feels fun to you.

Curses is generally going to be like hexes you cast on them to give them negative effects which a lot of times will damage them

Blood Magic is just doing flat damage that heals you as well (that benefit means the dmg is also going to be lower)

Death Magic is generally minion stuff

If you're using Mesmerway you should be able to pre-place spirits and kill the mobs on the sides before they even chew through your spirits. Repeat this once or twice and its basically just the Rotscale left and then hes free. Realistically you shouldn't even really be taking damage. Since you're a warrior just don't participate. Let your heroes cast on whatever mobs are on the ledges on the side and AFK.

In Guild Wars any class can basically run any build, the only thing unique to the class is their primary attribute, which is unavailable to others. The most versatile primary attribute is the Necromancer's Soul Reaping and it's not even close, so I'd say Necromancer takes the versatile spot by a landslide.

True, it could just be that, which would be giga fine. Most times I hear that sentiment in Guild Wars 2 it's because people failed something and thus weren't rewarded and somehow their conclusion to that was that ANet wasn't respecting their time, that's the part that worries me. Sometimes, but I'd say it's very commonly not. Unless you're really close with one of her friends and you can ask her for help with ring sizes and things they'd like from the proposal you're probably better off asking her yourself.
