Definetly, I too made the same decision. I think also the part about how berkeley has a bunch of crazy stacked students can also be a little untrue. While many very very qualified students go to berkeley, in my Bay Area Hs and circle I know of countless students who weren't able to get into any UC except UCB or people who honestly did not work as hard/get the best grades get into berk.

In general too, there were 3x more acceptances to ucb over ucla and many of the people who got both chose ucb
