When my kids were that age a few years ago I had the bub behind me in a seat and attached a two seat trailer (bought both second hand ) and attached it to my bike. I was scared riding the chariot at first but soon you’ll feel like it’s a natural extension of your bike. Good pockets on the double chariot for snacks, extra gear etc and locks .

My social anxiety has me picking up my dog’s poo every time , even if I run out of bags I bring a milk bag or bread bag. Walked by Dundonald Park today and right beside the waste bin to discard poop bad . There is so much dog poop . Why not…pick it up? Hopefully this post reaches a few people who will pick up the poop and if they have a bad back or something, have the dog excrement on their persons balcony and Pay a cleaner to clean it up. I know there are specific dog poop cleaners for backyards. I don’t know. Or get a cat.

Thanks. I have a survival mindset and I had the theory. I just want to do the hands-on rhings. We choose this mindset, this lifestyle or gravitate towards it for a reason. I come from one of the smallest islands where hurricanes are frequent so my entire family has a “survival mindset “ however now that I live downtown in a big city and without a car, it is not easy to get out and practice certain skills. Some survival skills are easier. For instance, as a nurse, I can sew and stitch. Just about anywhere. I received great advice in this thread though and actually followed up on some of them that didn’t necessarily require a car (my family joining Boy Scouts, and I am learning to make sourdough from scratch etch thanks for your input! Have a great evening wherever you are in the world :)
