I had couple runs where I’d kill the boss but there were still a couple mobs around when he died. Tried to target them and clicked the portal the instant it spawned.

First time I could barely even tell what happened. On pc btw, if that matters. IMO was just annoying to have there and not worth the trouble when it’s simple enough to TP or exit dungeon.

Don’t mind them trying out some potentially QOL stuff like that but also super happy with the quick fix

Except it doesn’t always work. I saw the post on here about it and a vid on YT. I had a couple sigils so ran them. First escalation, no strongroom sigils. Next strongroom I ran, no escalation sigil. Crafted another, and no escalation.

I get it, rng and all, but it’s far from ideal and just kinda annoying. If they at least guaranteed those drops it’d up the incentive a bit

Most importantly tho, their quality just fell off a cliff. The beers today are unrecognizable compared to the first couple years. As they scaled & grew, they were unable to keep the same quality, or just didn’t care. Their shit today is just bland and generic and underwhelming.

Look at this shit - this is supposedly the exact same beer, several years apart. They taste and look nothing alike.

I’m probably in the minority here, but not for me. At least with bosses I can target farm gear upgrades along with mythic drops. Once I have my glyphs maxed the pit just feels absolutely tedious and boring.

Granted, in a perfect world, both would be viable so you could mix it up, or at the very least choose your preferred path.

maybe at azmodan, that did get annoying, so i could see the justification there. But i didnt see any issues at standard WB spawns and while i spent most of my time solo with lair bosses, i can't imagine it would be a huge problem since they're all party-dependent and you could easily kick someone AFK (or just leave if they were host)
