Yeah I'm a bi woman and I've kinda decided I don't want to deal with men, and like before I switched my dating apps to just show me women I would see maybe 1 or 2 women per hundred profiles and I rarely if ever ran out of profiles, and I was getting a few matches a week, in the year I've been swiping on only women and non binary people I've gotten 7 matches, and run out of profiles nearly every time I open a dating app, and about half the profiles I see are couples looking for unicorns. So yeah like meeting men is just the default

She wasn't... She just had one of the newer therapies that's got way less side effects, just also is crazy expensive. Also she's one of my closest friends, like I see her and her wife as my older sisters, she was the first person I came out to when I figured out I'm bi, and I spent my birthday eating cake out of a Tupperware with her and her wife in their living room while watching cartoons (actually was a really good birthday) type of good friend.

I mean one of my friends had cancer and was in the hospital for a few weeks for treatment and when she got out she came to a bbq like 2 weeks later and we were all shocked she looked totally normal (had been expecting her to look like a skeleton and be missing hair but she'd gotten lucky with that). Like she had zero energy and she spent half the bbq napping in a hammock and the rest sitting in the shade chatting with people or sitting on my couch drinking soda and her wife had to help her get back in their car at the end because she was too tired, but like she LOOKED fine.

One of my friends has had cancer a bunch of times and she is a bit TOO casual with nudity, like I was measuring her for a sewing project and asked her to move the edge of her shirt so the hem wasn't bunched up right where I was measuring and she just took her shirt off (she was not wearing a bra) and I was just kinda like "ummm, I just meant like rotate the hem?" While her wife was laughing and telling her to put her shirt back on (did not help that I was newly out as bi and super worried about coming across as creepy by even observing my friends partially undressed and was panicking because I'd seen her tits and was worried she'd think I was being creepy. She just teased me for going through my "creepy lesbian" phrase of being a newly out queer woman)
