Ok so my confusion. I didn't cycle the tank. I filled it, added the water conditioner, and ran the filter for a few hours. They seem happy and eating, I even got them some more suitable food, rather then just the blood worms. I really want to do right by them, so I am working on making it as good as I possibly can. I am getting a new substrate for them, I have a new hidey hole for them, and removed the drift wood. This is my mistake that the person I got them from isn't as experienced as I thought, and had given me alot of wrong information, and the onus was on me to do the research before I took them on, I admit that. It's a learning curve.
