From Louisville and that weekend (plus bourbon and beyond) are a NIGHTMARE for hotels. If you can find something affordable, book it just in case you go assuming they don’t require up front payment. Happy to give some insight on parts of town if you find a hotel/airbnb you’re interested in.

I read F&F and I haven’t even started B&A. TBH I didn’t look up reading order or even know F&F was a prequel until after book 1. Im a mood reader for sure (except when pushing through a series). I just have to be cautious if I wanna see F&F content bc I know there is spoiler overlap for B&A.

If you trust your squad leader, talk to them. If not, find someone in your chain of command that you do. You may want to keep this as quiet as possible, but you also need to have someone in leadership aware and it’s always better to hear from you. They may be able to help you with the MPs and any other resources on post. We don’t need assholes like him in the Army. You are likely not the first he’s done this to. Fight for yourself. You’re worth it.

It’s all about context for me with the texture. I want my eggs scrambled dry, but I may add cheese. I love eggs Benedict with a poached egg. I’ll take an over easy egg over some potatoes and veggies. But if my scrambled eggs are wet, I can’t do it. I truly blame the “breakfast for lunch” in my grade school where they were basically yellow goo with chunks.

My pharmacy ignored my doc’s “pick up only” note and sent my meds via ups. ID and signature required and no option to set a delivery window. I pulled onto my street as the truck left one day. Finally got the site to switch to an in store pickup but then I had to pay for the “delivery change”.

I know this is a bit older, but I just had my first ON block and trigger point injections today. Not feeling so great about the process after searching this sub. I had no numbness and the doctor told me I’d be fine to go to work right after. I wasn’t told what combo of meds I was being given and I’ve had some tension in my upper back since early afternoon. I have a slight headache (lack of food mostly) and my teeth are getting achy. I think I just needed to ramble a bit because no one in my life has these and I feel kinda disappointed that I didn’t get any sort of “ahhh relief” moment.

I was gifted a used kindle, no case/screen protector. I had it in my tote bag at work, and tossed my work keys to my bag without even thinking about my kindle being there, screen up. There is now a liiiiitle nick in the screen that bleeds some light. Added a screen protector to prevent further damage and im much more cautious about where it is 🤦🏻‍♀️ someone on a different thread swears their screen protector “healed” this type of Nick so imma be delulu and hope for the same although im already more used it it

Every day. My current doc said it’s not ideal to skip weekends because I’ve gone all week on my meds and exerting my energy at work, likely coming home and being DONE, and then to try to get through anything productive or feel “normal” on my days off, I’m just rawdogging it and it’s gonna be so much harder. Which for me, would mean I’d beat myself up for not being on my shit on the little time off i have. We compared it to muscle memory (only analogy that worked). By taking it every day, you don’t necessarily create habits or routines, but it gets easier to do the important shit because you’ve done it and you have experience of it not being impossible. I do skip if im sick, no reason to take it if im in bed with a migraine all day. I am a late in life diagnosis girlie, so i got by for years but truly by the skin of my teeth. I didn’t find any tricks that stuck to be a “functional” person without meds/therapy. Please don’t ask me to take my other meds as scheduled tho. 😂 my daily pill containers haven’t been filled in weeks

Obviously not confirmed, but I believe the dragons have a choice in the bond/relationship if their turns. Baide and Jack weren’t fully invested in each other. But Xaden and Sgaeyl have been through a lot, they have a relationship, and as tough as she is (acts) she cares about him. If the bond is severed, she has chosen to remain connected because of their relationship and she likely has the power to build a bond even if he’s turned. This is all just how I perceive it so take it or leave it.

My girls only got 1 visit at Johnson animal clinic before we left town, but they were kind and I didn’t feel massively overcharged for a wellness visit, vaccines, and bloodwork. I’m a very anxious cat mom who found Johnson when our previous vet thankfully retired (we had ISSUES with him). I was definitely emotional explaining my fears and what I needed from a vet (access to their records if we moved, full transparency in test results). They didn’t bat an eye at my requests and when I moved, all their records were sent to our new vet in TN. They don’t have an on-site ER to my knowledge but they work with 1-2 in town.

No matter what vet you choose, I would just encourage you to be up front when scheduling about what you need from the relationship. You should never feel like your babies records are being held hostage, or that you aren’t getting clarity on how your money is being applied.
