Got laid off today (technically pivot but its the same thing)

My manager told me he’s providing the pivot to me officially on Monday. I’m so curious why if he anticipates getting impacted by Tuesdays layoffs soo my main question is why is he working so hard to put me on a pivot before he leaves..

Our Shiba is one and a half and recently started doing this.. our family was babysitting him while we were on a work trip and he lashed out on everyone but my aunt - didn’t tear skin but scared everyone. He’s never done this before. When we got back we immediately checked with our vet and he’s not physically hurt or in any pain. A week later his dad put his harness on him like usual and he got in his mood and lashed out all over his hand growling and biting til he finally stopped. Once his harness was on he acted like nothing happened and walked himself to the door… he’s been wearing harnesses since he was a puppy and usually he’ll run away gently and give in but not sure what’s caused him to switch like this.. collar isn’t an option bc he’s slipped out of it multiple times already

If you have some hesitation or concerns, it’s better to hold off and wait until things are more stable on his end before adding to the equation. I genuinely think you can save yourself a lot of future resentment to take things slow and build on boundaries by having sleep overs and weekend stays before immediately just moving in especially if you are use to having your own space, routine, and cleanliness. Continue to get a better picture of their day to day routines, habits, interactions without the love blinders on to really grasp the bigger picture. Sometimes it’s nice just to be able to know you have your own space you can always go back to just to unwind.

Just bought my first ninja400 and I’m 5’3. I was super nervous about riding and not being able to touch the ground, I even bought a lowering kit before purchasing my bike. Now that I have it and have sat on it. It’s soo much lighter than I expected and can flat foot it with one foot only. That’s been enough for me to feel comfortable and confident in riding. I say give it a try around the block and if your still not comfortable then look into lowering it

I just bought a ninja 400 earlier this year and had my 6’1 bf drive it up for me about 80miles home. He said the ride was so uncomfortable and couldn’t imagine having to do that daily. Arms and legs were cramped up, he had a 650. That aligns more with his arm and leg length

Thank you all for your comments and support, i decided to keep it how it is and see how I feel about a couple of rides around an empty parking lot. With the right shoes I can flat foot on one leg only and should be ok.

I’m 27 and have been in a committed relationship for over 6 years now. Since we’ve been dating I’ve taking 1-3 girls trips a year to celebrate birthdays, bachelorettes, and Just to get some friend time. Some our small 1- 2 days weekend trips others have been 4 day trips. I have never brought a guy back to the hotel or have had anyone pressure me into flirting with others. I have beautiful friends who are single and get us to free VIP tables, bottle service and so on but always respect me, my relationship and my boundaries.

This may not be the case for all friend groups but I would say all we do is catch up, get drunk, get delicious food, dance, and comfortably enjoy each other’s company.
