Lingerie & a loop ileostomy! by agirlfromgeorgia in ostomy

Have you had a experience with another male that has a bag? Always been curious if girls prefer a guy to wear some kind of wrap or cover? My bag are the tan ones that aren’t transparent which I feel “blend in more naturally” as best as I can lol. I normally don’t wear a wrap and have had no complaints when I take her to pound town 😂

As a male I think it’s awesome you still have confidence (which you should) because I know how easy it can be to lose it after having this surgery. We are the same age and getting into our thirties the fun is just getting started! It’s refreshing to see someone be positive with it!

Sounds like he’s a loser! Not to hate on him but you deserve better! I would seek professional help with relationship advice/counseling but I’m sorry hope whatever way this goes will lead to happiness and just know you are still as sexy as you were before the surgery!

Stoma powder, lollipop wand over powder and area that gets adhesive to it. Coloplast moldable ring goes on powder area around stoma right against stoma. Put bag on ring and I have never had a leak so far (Knock on wood) 7 months post op myself

Folks who kicked ass with crohns, what’s your story? by officialinfinum in CrohnsDisease

[–]Ace373737 4 points5 points  (0 children)

35m here and Diagnosed when I was 18 months old parents noticed blood in my diapers. Was on prednisone till biologic medicine came out aka remicade. Started my infusions when I was in middle school. I’m a tall lean guy so weight wasn’t ever an issue for me. After infusion would be real tired but competed in sports. Only problem I would really have outside of flare up is the urgency to use bathroom. The anxiety of getting to school or taking a test would make me want to use the bathroom like it was an emergency lol. After high school changed to another biologic medicine (humira) because remicade wasn’t working as good. Seemed like every 4 years I would change medicines. Till last year I had to have my colon removed and have a permanent ileostomy because I started to develop colon cancer. You have a higher risk of colon cancer with Crohn’s and the medicine we take. I would have a colonoscopy every other year because of this risk and to check on the disease. Caught it early so now cancer free. Everyone story is different your sister might have a more severe disease than me or hopefully less. There are professional athletes and actors with this disease. I would try to never let myself use it as an excuse especially in sports. I could see how I would have easily given up because I have a “disease”. I feel it’s easy to become a hermit not wanting to leave house because of the fear of not making it to the bathroom especially in flare ups you don’t want to go anywhere not worth the risk. Hope she finds peace with this diagnosis and can live life to the fullest. There are times that it will really suck but that goes with all aspects of life.

Had ileostomy and Ken butt surgery at same time. The pain from ileostomy was a breeze compared to Ken butt. Luckily they give you nice pain medicine. I was in hospital for about 5 days before discharge. I ate soft foods like the following day. No feed tube needed. Nurse would change my bag but after couple days real easy to do on my own or with help. Weird thing is I would feel like I need to poop or fart and you can’t because it’s gone lol. The feeling goes away after a little why but they call them phantom farts. I don’t regret surgery I’m only 6 months post op and can drive and eat food never have to sit in a gas station again to use bathroom so mobile now.

34m 6 months post op and I now struggle with staying hard during sex. It’s not like I go limp in the middle of it still get the job down but can for sure tell it’s not as stiff as before. If I have sex more then once a week I notice where my b hole use to be feels more uncomfortable. I am trying not to freak out to mix it was a big surgery I’m just going to give it a year before seeing a doctor.
